to the retards who actually think that he can press charges with a fucking SS of someone desktop, are you actually mentally handicapped?

With accordance of 18 USC § 2703 - Required disclosure of customer communications or records can and will probably be requested upon filing a subpoena for Blizzard Entertainment providing information of said instance if necessary, and there is not Blizzard could do to dispute it, in fact, i think Blizzard would be more then obliged to follow through standard procedure in order to not hurt their reputation as A) a company and B ) their capability of recognizing & permitting identification in use to retrieve stolen accounts.

And to be precise, the hacker did not steal from Ryan, they used an illegal way to commit fraud and steal Blizzards property, merely leased to Ryan.

For reference;

All rights and title in and to the Service (including without limitation any user accounts, titles, computer code, themes, objects, characters, character names, stories, dialogued, catch phrases, locations, concepts, artwork, animations, sounds, musical compositions, audio-visual effects, methods of operation, moral rights, any related documentation, “applets,” transcripts of the chat rooms, character profile information, recordings of games) are owned by Blizzard or its licensors. The Game and the Service are protected by United States and international laws, and may contain certain licensed materials in which Blizzard’s licensors may enforce their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement.

TLDR: Blizzard will have to give out information about the claim of the account, this includes Date, Content, Time & IP-address used to send it. The content of that e-mail alone is sufficent to tie you to identity theft.

some karma for ya
