Topics I've Started

thinking about creating a blog

13 April 2017 - 05:54 PM

What do you guys think, am I interesting, funny, etc. enough to make a decent blog? Maybe even make a bit of money from sweet ad$ revenues.

I considered using my artistic skills and doing like a webcomic too.

I could also try subjecting myself to more experiences out in the world and reporting on them from the perspective of a NEET life shut-in.

I GIVE IT A MILLION STARS!!!

05 April 2017 - 03:35 AM

I've just now started watching review and how did I miss this show it's like such a classic I feel I've stumbled upon an underappreciated gem or something but maybe I just live under a rock.

Conspiracy theory: I've figured out who Trump is

20 February 2017 - 12:53 AM

Trump is a real world version of Adrian Alexander Veidt AKA Ozymandias from the Watchmen film and comics.

The uncanny commonalities -

* Received high grades in school, and was very intelligent. Later hid this information from his elders and peers by deliberately achieving average marks.

Just like Trump, concealing his real intelligence. Trump masterminds a takeover of the Republican party, wins the presidency, all the while more than half of the country thinks he's just an idiot.

* Inherited a substantial fortune, and continued to become very wealthy

Yep.

* Is Orange and Blonde...

Whoah... wat.

* A ruthless and master strategist, swiftly eliminating anybody who dares to get in the way of his plans

Just as he handled the republican primary clowns, then the mainstream media, then Clinton.

* used his wealth to bankroll a scheme of creating a catastrophic event to deceive the world into uniting against a common enemy and thus avert nuclear war

Both Russia and the United States are big players right now, and both have nukes. Trump is at the heart of this, trying to mend their relations. Who is the common enemy? The mainstream media? We're not sure yet, maybe he hasn't revealed his final cards. Expecting big things.

Considering college degrees

15 February 2017 - 04:01 PM

So I been talking to a therapist about turning myself into a more happy and useful human being and stuff and I'm considering career options. Collecting opinions from people so I figured "Why not AJOT?" "They are probably people.".

On my list of options I'm looking into ---

Art Therapy: I like art, I'm good at art, and IRL I'm a patient and chill person. This is not a high paying job though and it sounds new agey as hell even though it appears pretty legit.

Civil Engineering(Forestry or Renewables): These are both big in my area, and potentially you get to work outdoors. Working in a nice environment is a big plus. I also was good at math and design related stuff before I became all gloomy and stopped doing school work.

Architecture: Sounds intimidating, but I'm very interested in it and it's apparently a high paying job which is nice. I understand that early on it'll probably involve less creative and interesting stuff than I'd like but that it involves some creativity is still a plus.

IDK, AJOT, what do you think I should do?

Goat yoga

11 January 2017 - 12:13 PM

Basically, goat yoga is yoga except instead of with no goats, goat yoga has goats.

Those goats walk through the class, blending farm animal with asana.

In August, Lainey Morse, owner of No Regrets Farm in Albany where the class takes place, told us, "My goats are very social and friendly animals and love to interact with people."

Morse said the class has a waiting list of 600 people. Over email on Tuesday, she said that list is now up to over 900.

...she is working with Oregon State University to provide goat yoga on campus and is also working with Emerson Vineyards to do "Sunset Goat Yoga & Wine Tasting" on Saturdays and Sundays starting in the spring.

Just saying this is a thing, it's in my state, and that's kind of neat.
