They need to be careful not to make disc too over-powered though. If you think about it, if all the Priest issues were taken care of (survivability, mana, extra healing) then they'd actually be the easiest healer to play in the game and probably the best.

The combination of 30sec CD Phantasm (fade) heals, 45sec Aura Mastery heals, ontop of clearing your focus every 30sec with spectral guise (night elf priests will be super aids again) then if all else fails, just swap hp instantly and LoS heal yourself... it's all way too basic and easy to play.

So then if disc is able to take glyph of swd and fear ward for every relevant game if the baseline changes go through, they're going to be even more difficult to CC, not to mention instant CC's getting nerfed (rightly so too) but it does directly effect how much easier healers will be to play.

It's going to be a really fine line between making discs "viable"  and them being stupidly easy to play and overpowered for sure. The whole easyclassmode shield + immunity heal your target was really silly in cata in the first place, now they have a whole bunch of easy-class abilities to use in arena, people just don't realise it yet because of how bad disc is right now.

funny thing hes posting that, the last time i died in 3s was pre nerf against a frost mage. Dks are fine how they are. Dks dont need cc, dks dont need a survival buff, nothing. If you play frost, sure, Frost is like playing in a wheelchair. Dks are designed to play in a cleave type of a comb, youve lot of cc removal or immunity things, youre here to tunnel damage, it was always like that. Just learn to fucking play or reroll if you want to be a unpeelable damage-cc machine like ferals are right now. I cant hear it anymore. Try to use your on use trinket for lichborne heals, stay blood presence the whole day and be sure to not waste your stupid ams. Counter pressure shit and dont NEVER EVER PLAY FUCKING FROST. You are now a good dk. + rep if helped

when they nerf the mongoloid gods in plate that have alone 7 rotateable interrupts and fucking jesus cats that have a cyclone procc on every global they do then maybe but only maybe any mage would consider to fakecast.

Atm its just not worth it to fakecast since you will have to outfake ~10 rotateable interrupt abilities when mongoloid plategods or jesuscats are on you, which are btw in 99% of the teams you meet now GUESS WHY

edit: oh and on topic, removing silence from mages will just make the gap between them and shadows even bigger, another indirect buff to shadowpriest I mean they arent god status enough yet(why would you ever take mage now when you can have a shadowbuddha in your team?), stupid mongoloids at blizzard sometimes I really wonder if they even play their own game or if they just calculate numbers

I just had this idea and as far as I know I have never seen it presented before. It's a bit strange but I think it could work. Bare with me. This idea seeks to reduce the effectiveness of things that aren't interrupts but interrupt anyway (stuns, incaps) while at the same time giving a use to casting again.

Basically, what if any stun or incapacitate applied to you WHILE you are casting has a 50% reduced duration. Before you flame this, think about it; it would accomplish several things:

For one, it would put some thought back into using stuns. Saving a Kidney Shot for when a Shaman uses Riptide or a totem instead of just mindlessly using your CC after the previous CC ends.

Two, it would allow interrupts to be the main source of interrupting again. A Priest channeling spells can still be interrupted, you just have to decide if your Pummel missed, whether it's worth using a DR'd stun to stop the cast.

Three, it gives healers and casters an incentive to cast -- as stun-protection -- if they know the enemy's actual interrupts are down. This alone would bring juking back into the meta-game.

And four, it would deepen the metagame and raise the skillcap. Instead of having "I interrupted his Nature", or "I juked his kick", you could also have "I casted his HoJ". It would create a way to lessen the impact of instant CC without making sweeping class changes to each individual stun. It's also important to note that based on the damage of instant casts usually being as high or higher than casted spells, this wouldn't cause casters to do more damage -- it would just promote more skilled play for both melee and casters.
