Don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
Cause I'd miss you babe
And I don't want to miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you babe
And I don't want to miss a thing

#4039808 Question about graduating to Shaman DPS

Posted konicki on 24 January 2014 - 03:11 PM

I have been leveling a shaman healer with a friend to about level 60.  The combination works well as a tank and healer get dungeons easily.  I, however, would like to move into DPS later on in the game and at the same time maintain my ability to heal effectively.

This isn't about the state of elem or enhance shamans, nerfs, buffs, or anything of that type.  I'm a shaman and that's that.  What I am curious about though is gearing and play-styles.

As far as I know an elem shaman's main attribute points would probably be INT/SPIRIT and enhancement shamans, INT/CRIT?!  I could be wrong on this, but do either of the two share gear with the resto spec and if so would separate gearing be necessary?

Lastly, what sort of play-styles to you all enjoy out of the DPS options available?  From what I read they are both bursty but less sustainy.  Is playing elem like playing a mage for example or absolutely nothing like?  How about enhance?

Thanks!

can this list be more biased?

In terms of winning on lan tournaments im pretty sure it goes to snutz/another/souler/sodah.

In terms of who you think is the best, its a personal choice

and this time actual commentary instead of that lazy "joining skype" shjt

Actually (no offence to anyone)... I prefer listening to skypes over commentating in 90% of situations. This is true even for Azael, who's a great commentator.

Think it's much more exciting when you get to hear the players. Commentating can be good too and definitely has its place.
