Sorry there is no defending this spec, this damage etc. Its broken, been broken since mop ptr. I remember watching Braindeadly and he called it first. Said it was going to be absurd. I litterally cant believe something like this can stay in the game this long. When I do everything I can to line damage like you would vs any ranged class and pets can finish you off, not from 5 percent, not from 10 percent but to wipe someone out from 30 percent health while los' damage. The fact that BW damage modifiers are still in place. Or that readiness was given back to the spec, specially when the reason bm lost it to begin with in S5 was because it was broken. GC made the post that people " get the spec, it has a nice kit" Well ...no fuckin shit ...developers handed the spec everything from every other nich Marks or surv brought.
But if they want to nerf this the right way they need to address any and all of these: BW, Readiness for BM spec, Mastery for pets, and blink strike. Huge culprits. Because nerfing something like scatter makes marks and surv even more irrelevant when they are decent specs as is. The fact that you have to play those specs like you would any ranged utility class and set up burst, kills peels etc. When all we see are BM hunters EVERY 2ND QUE just mongo out the gate, pop zoo and proceed to spam arcane shot with no regard to their postion.
Sure hybrids want damage - strip them of everything then. Right now I'm playing a class with no niche.

This is exactly true, IF damage class' would fall into one of two catergories: you either have lots of utility or Lots of damage. The traditional control class' like mages and hunters that were designed around cc and pet uitlity were given disgusting burst and too much sustained damage. Rogues in my opinion were a control class and their damage seems to reflect the tools they have been getting every expansion as of this patch. These class's along with hybrids should have been designed to bring the cc/offheals/team utility to a setup. The comp sacrifices some pure damage but makes up for it with what ever control aspects these class' would bring. Instead mongo mages and BM hunters have just fuckin gone nuts. All expansion long . Ele's are there now too with their burst. While pure damage class' that were designed with low utility in favor of pure output might as well be deleted from the game like warriors.
PS any nerfs to hunters need to be exclusive to this shit pet spec that has ruined my class for an entire xpac.

Yep, I remember the days of hunter/druid 2s matches where a pet dies and you could either prolong the loss slowely or leave. Pet rez has always been long for hunters to the point where Blizz turned a blind eye to abandon pet scripts for almost 2 expansions. But seriously come on man you been around long enought to know that every class relient on pets has had a way of bringing a pet back instantly on death a couple times a match, some class' even less relient on pet utility than the original pet class itself like hunter. Blizz handed hunters a pet rez once a match at the cost of pets biggest utility, roar of sac. Or you can spec for an emergency pet heal at the cost of taking 15 percent extra damage baseline.
So if your too dense to realize what he means Ill explain it for you. As marks if my pet dies its not the end of the world, yes I lose utility, and some miner damage, but for him being as relient as he is on pets not just for damage but for utility then its game breaking. Killing a pet isnt like the old days, It dies, and it dies fast. Bringing it back can be near impossible. And other class's still have mechanics to bring pets back at no cost to utility or survivability , instantly. Killing pets can be a strategy, but shouldnt be so easy vs one class and less punitive for others.
