Glad/WW or Glad/Ret should work more than fine. Pretty much dumpsters on healers.

I would imagine glad/ret would work better with the priest however. More well rounded comp.

Salvage/Enchanting/X

The X can be any profession building want. You can also go scribes and make darkmoon cards with the infinite herbs you get from the garden. Can go Storehouse for a bank if you really want it and don't want to waddle to the Ashran portal 5 feet away.

Salvage level 2/3 gives you boxes which can drop ilvl increasing items for your followers. Higher the ilvl, higher the missions, and higher missions reward raid gear.

Enchanting is just useful overall. Free mats. Plus the transmog weapon enchants are pretty darn cool.

outside of a few broken specs this season has a chance of not being completely awful

as long as they tone down some of the melee and balance the healers more everything will be fine and dandy

Hi Evolute! Thanks for replying.

We actually talked for a bit and Friend 2 decided he will play Priest heals or Sham heals so we're currently looking at -

Me - Rogue/Mage/War
Friend 1 - Boomkin or Kitty
Friend 2 - Resto Sham/Holy or Disc Priest

We'd like to be viable in 2s as pairs and also in 3s. Hopefully that clears things up?]

We were leaning towards Kitty / Mage / Priest 3s
and Kitty / Mage 2s

Sort of doing PMR with a kitty for rogue sub and MR with the same idea. Would that be ok?

Rogue/Moonkin/Discipline, Mage/Boomkin/Either Healer and Warrior/Feral/Either healer will probably all work in wod. Feral/mage/priest (fmp) has always been pretty stable as it offers extremely good crowd control chains.

Kittycleave (feral/war) and Rogue/Moonkin will probably be top tier comps. Those specs were very strong on the beta. Rogues and Ferals are probably the best melee (with DKs), and Moonkins are tied with Shadow and Warlocks.

In terms of healers, either of those work. Priests are looking to be much better than shamans currently at 100 as shaman output seems a little low and they can't survive the train-the-shaman cleaves that will probably start the season off.

For 2s, Moonkins pair well with basically everything as they're more or less a healer in that bracket, even at level 100. With all of their healing capabilities you can stick them with anything. Rogue or mage would work extremely well. Warrior/healer and Kitty/healer is also extremely good in 2s so you can play with either friend and have success.

With your class choices you have a lot of options, honestly!
