It's neat because it doesnt replace your old armor piece, you get an entirely new item, the catch is there are no stats on the elite pieces so that when you get them and choose to wear them, you truly have to play at an elite level, i think it adds a nice aspect into the game. maybe this will kickstart some arena participation!
You insulted Hydra's team multiple time not just at the end of the stream. I won't tell organizers, because it is just my opinion, but I just wanted to express it because the way the tourney played out today made the WoW community look like a joke.
Today is the day. Semifinals and finals of Bleached Bones Arena Tournament will be streamed. The match-ups look very strong, especially seeing Zunniyaki play against Khuna. We'll also see if Minpojke will be the first moonkin to ever win a WoW tournament!

I was discussing this yesterday with a friend and we couldn't agree on WHY WoW has such a fucking terrible rep when it comes to e-sports. It doesn't matter how good you are at WoW, you're still looked down by other "progamers"... we can all agree that Reckful is much more skilled/talented than your average SC2 pro (like lzgamer or painuser), yet Reckful only gets the respect he deserves in the WoW community.
It doesn't matter if WoW is an easy game individually, it's still all about your TEAM and koreans have proved that over and over... jungyup's phd winning the only two WoW tournaments of 2011 (NAO is amazing but it's still too young and it doesn't have EU/KR players competing yet) proves that. It would be really nice if we got to see WCG show WoW some love like NAO is doing, I feel like the balance is better than it's ever been (I'm not saying it's perfectly balanced, calm down) yet no one's giving it a chance anymore.
With the WoW community the way it is + the low percentage of the player base that actually does arena, it's impossible to see why anyone would want the game to be successful anymore.
Warcraft III's melee community is probably smaller than WoW's arena community, yet it's still supported by WCG. Then again this was probably it's last year, but still.
I know it's cool to say WoW sucks and that you're playing SC2 now and stuff, but this is still a WoW based website and I think everyone who browses AJ still enjoys playing arenas, except lolflay.
