With pursuit of justice being changed to a 3 point talent that increases run speed by 15% total, I was thinking of maybe going with a build like:
http://www.wowhead.c...MxzhektVMZVf0ob

Being able to judge justice on anything, and then run 15% faster than that person is pretty damn sick, though you would lose Kings, Stoicism, and Imp conc aura.

i dont think the speed overcomes the fact that you lose kings stoicism and imp conc, that and im still happy with boars speed. GO GO SoJ and freedom kiting

I don't think it will be viable. The loss of Improved Concentration Aura, and more importantly Stoicism is huge. I thought about it for a bit as well but the added speed will not be required. It doesn't add enough strategy to force people to spec for it. 41/20/0 will remain king.

I'll be trying out 41/7/13, and seeing how it goes.

You'd just miss out on too much stuff. The best talents in prot are the last ones, and you need to get Light's Grace and Holy Shock from Holy too, so even if tempted, it just wouldn't work on a Holy build :(

Though i'm hoping they'd move it to tier2 in protection, swapping places with precision (PoJ gives protection vs spells too, so it could make sense, or swap places with precision, making sense even moar, since melee +hit talent really fits retri).
Well, fingers crossed, since that'd be awesome change especially in 2s/3s since you could now actually kite.

There's also 40/0/21 to consider, for the burst you can add to help in 2s. Toss up a judgement of crusader early, and with ~800 spell dmg, switch to sanctity aura, concecrate, stun, SoC/JoC, and auto-crit holy shock to add some very significant burst. I know that'd help my 2v2 out a lot more vs say warrior/druid (druid/anything I guess) than having DI for long-term mana conservation.

You overestimate Sanctity Aura too much. What makes a shockadin is his gear and your judgment between dealing damage and healing (lolpun). Being 41-20 holy-prot is better because it gives you the healing power you need, and durability while you're a healer; the talents you give up to get Sanctity Aura are simply not worth the gain.

Sanctity Aura, the new Pursuit of Justice, the new Vindication (smack someone a few times with your 1.8 speed wep, and they suddenly lose 15% stam, along with the other stats), eye for an eye, to name most of the benefits.

In 2's, kiting people who drain your mana with rediculous ease would be pretty huge. Look at druids.

You could always get a minor speed and JoJ.

Bottom line, not having kings and imp conc leaves your team in any size vulnerable to a burst.

In 2v2 and 3v3 it will become the new build.

In 5v5, hell no.

You lose way too much with that build. There is no way i could give up kings, stoicism, imp righteous fury, and imp concentration aura for a little running speed. Even if you can run faster, locks will still find ways to drain your mana. If you are really adament at running faster than judge justice on the lock but even that is a waste in my opinion since it costs the mana and prevents them from being feared.

Druids also have a bear form where they cannot be drained in, and their speed in travel form is 30% plus the 4 piece bonus...That is no where near in comparison to a pally with that talent.

30% dispel resist is a lot and very annoying when bof or bop resists 3 dispels in a row

Also it basically single handedly foils mass-dispel paladin nuking strategies. One resist and you waste your interrupts on the bubble and he heals to full. Not worth persuing that strategy if that's gonna happen 30% of the time.

It happens about 40% of the time with stoicism and the lack of priest +hit.
