Mouseover macro isn't that bad.

That being said, did this change actually do anything? You can just use /targetlast + tremor stomps now. Not a big deal from what I've heard.

i dont see how we wouldnt be able to, its a slash command, you can slash command cast things still id assume

i thought they only removed /cast [target=totemxxxxx] ability macros

with this macro you still have to target the totem thus doing the same things you can do manually

idk, ill try it on live when my server comes up

someone told me that there is a macro that will randomly target random totems (you cant prioritize tramor for example). but that specific totem names in macros dont work for targeting. not sure though. we'll see.

/target tremor
/petattack
/targetlasttarget

will still work, cause you can´t forbid targeting something
its only not able to target it as prefix in petattack (like /petattack [targeT=totem])

but the best solution in my eyes is to make a mosover macro and bind it to a good mousbutton
go over the totem and press the button you have following macro linked to
/petattack [target=mousover]

is not only useable for totems, also rules for keeping someone in combat

so ON,
Smir

ITS ALL ABOUT THE ON LOL

After some testing with a shaman friend, this is my findings on live patch 3.2, Aug 4th.

/target Tremor Totem
/petattack
/targetlasttarget

Still working. After the totem is stomped my pet attacked the shaman every time. Pressing the macro while pet is on Passive / follow. Was testing this in duels but when i tried it in arena it did not work properly whatsoever.

Old complicated macro like

/petattack
/petattack [target=Earthbind Totem]
/petattack [target=Healing Stream Totem]
/petattack [target=Mana]
/petattack [target=Grounding Totem]
/petattack [target=Tremor Totem]

no longer working. Seems you cant stomp multiple totems with the same macro. Could not get a working macro to stomp grounding / tremor together in 1 button in any order.

Seems like a mouseover is the way to go. May as well use the mouseover for all pet attack commands too.

So could you still incorporate fear into a stomp macro?

I have it so whenever I hit my fear bind, regardless of whether or not i actually cast the fear, my pet automatically charges towards totems.

Wondering if I'll need a seperate bind or if I just have to change my current fear/stomp macro.

people don't read it seems.

/target tremor totem

is not working, you don't target it. only work on friendly totems but it seems it doesn't work on hostile ones
