You mean you are 100% sure the Armory has always displayed it that way, or that the final number of given titles always has been as it seems it will be now (9th 10th 10th 10th 13th), meaning no "extra" titles? Because I might well be wrong about how the Armory displayed the teams before, but I'm quite sure about the fact that draws used to mean "extra" Glads, since the number of Glads that should have been given in my BG when s8 ended was 55, which ended up being 63 due to 7 draws.
Once again, I might be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure about that last part. Some further explanation of which part of this you mean by "100% sure it's always been that way" would be great. ^^

edit: actually, I remember reading somewhere they changed it to who got to the specific rating first or something for rank1 teams at least? maybe it's something like that for any team now.

Before (I think): 7th 8th 9th 10th 10th 11th (2 teams tie in 10th place)
Now: 7th 8th 10th 10th 12th (2 teams tie in 10th place)
So basically, the Armory, seasons 1 to 8, represented the ties as both teams occupying the same slot, thus obviously generating an extra glad, while it now represents it as the tie occupies two slots, making the next team (in this example the 12th team) drop down one more possition (meaning no extra glad is generated by the tie).
I could be remembering how the armory used to show this totally wrong, so I guess the real question would be "Does somebody know if the armory used to show ties the same way it does now (or has a screen or something)?"
Probably just me overthinking, I guess that even if the display mode is different, at the end it will be the same when it comes to titles, it's just I got quite puzzled when I saw how ties seem to be displayed now.

say that you have 6 people in a 3v3 team, the first 3 people get to 2500 rating (team and personal) so that's gladiator. then the other 3 are planning to play too getting 20% games played and in a 100 personal-team rating range(for example they get 2450 personal, 2550 team, everyone gets gladiator).
what if for example they fail miserabily and they get the team to 2390 rating? do the first 3 guys who have the PERSONAL on 2500 get gladiator or do they not get anything as the TEAM rating is below the cut off?

Afaik they round it down? But idk about extreme situations like this when there would only be 1 gladiator team with 1.95 spots? Maybe they are human too at blizzard n they'll understand?

They round down, no matter the case.
In s5 I was r12, and according to a 0-20 ranked team, there should be 11.9~ glads.
Needless to say, they rounded down.
