I've just now decided that they should give shaman the ability to dispel physical effects.

Exactly what the game needs imo.

I'm having fun as Ret/FrostDK/Rsham atm. While it is lulzlceave, we have no MS. Handing our CC is vital to winning, especially against RMP. I believe the balance of offensive and defensive abilities of my partners is really what makes it able to perform. That and the ability to do extremely fast swaps with a lot of burst.

I personally feel that a 2 second self freedom on a not too long cooldown (say, anywhere between 30 seconds and 1 minute) could make a world of change for resto shamans in the 2v2 bracket. They're only really viable with a ret or a DK at the moment because those two classes can gimp our melee assaulters into being slower than we can run (by giving us freedom/repenting them, or death gripping/chaining them). 2 seconds of freedom in ghost wolf can get us behind a pillar.

Could see shamanistic rage base, but restoring like 15-20% maximum mana over the duration. Then give enhance a controlled burst ability like ele mastery. (Next wf proc gets 100% crit chance and you get 10% melee crit for 15sec or something. Might not work because of 2handers though lol.)

This would give us a mana regen tool and a nice defensive cooldown. I think the cd is short enough that it won't be a big deal that it is dual-use. Plus, resto would still have tide to hold it over till SRage was up again if they needed it for mana.

Just throwing out ideas really.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ancestral awakening is doubly affected by ms.
For example, without ms, you crit heal for 1000, AA heals for 300.
With ms, you crit heal for 500, AA is supposed to heal for 150, but is affected by ms again, so it actually heals for 75. Make AA a PW:S type effect instead of actually healing.

And if I'm wrong, just ignore what I said :X

they fixed AA to not be doubly effected a couple patches ago i think
