Enjoying 3s a lot atm, playing Elemental + Destruction + HPal. Definately a fun combo to run, enjoying it more than anything I have run previously.

Yes, I play with a hunter and we should be steamrolling them. We still win at least 75% of the time, but sometimes we just get facerolled and lose 12-16+ points.

tanked from 2,250 to 2000 last 2 days hm. its pretty retarded really, playing shaman/rogue. supposebly a decent comp and sometimes it is, but when you play nothing but druid+insert dps you get pretty easily raped. a retridin can still drop my rogue in 2 globals. warriors isnt much better...

I prefer dks really, altho they can do the same it just doesnt always happen

75-83 in stats this week..1977 and slowly going down!

I really hate speculating in these sort of things but I'd say a fix of sorts to totems is in order. clearly totemstomping still works and it makes using any totems other than grounding a waste of mana 90% of the time.

for starters, I would like increased health on totems such as WF, strengh of earth, flametongue etc. The statincreasers. 1k health would be cool since we put out 400+ mana / totem, a melee strike from any dps would drop em still but aslong as druids cant wander at it and 1 shot it with 200 autohit I'm good.

I do agree that tremor and perhaps cleansing would need different treatment and I think those are pretty balanced atm (altho everytime I land a tremor, a pet will rape it within 3 sec and avoiding fear from priests these days has become near impossible assuming they arent retarded but oh well, the other classes has to suffer it aswell so why not us).

Something should be done about our survivability. when I face a shaman in arena (playing with a rogue) I know we will win as my rogue will drop their shaman within a minute (even with freedom and HoP yes) with a cople of purges from my side. A full stunlock will drop any shaman below 40% with near no way to get uptop again. Time for undispellable earthshield? Since we give up all our mana regen with earshield on (lets face it, we are balanced alot around always having watershield on) we should be given something more when earthshield is put on us. Comments?

We are the only healer without any real "oh-shit!" button. NS and stoneclaw is good and all but in reality it does very little. We got no bubble or fredom, no pain supression or instant fear, no natures grasp or barkskin. The 4k shield we got from stoneclaw can be compared to PW:S and any priest will tell you that 4k damage vs 2 dps is very minor, percentage neglection (20% less damage taken for example) is worth 10x more

some food for thought. Naturally every other healer will bash this post tho

A few defensive cooldown damage reducers and a buff to riptide would probably be it once they fix stomping. There hae been plenty of ideas about riptide and/or its glyph. The old astral shift idea might be worth exploring as well, moving it to t1 ele would help resto and enh a ton. Pyrilus had a great idea on how to make tremor more balanced in usefulness but I can't remember it atm.

It's not like you can't do well as a shaman, it's just we are generally the weakest at whichever role we take. (Outside of ele which is stronger than boomkin imo.)

really wish we'd get some better synergy with some of the classes. As previously mentioned, there is always a better alternative than the shaman assuming equal skill

When it comes down to it, I find it was mana regen/efficiency that is fucking over shamans.

Pallys have plea.
Druid have innervate+barkskin.
Priest have hymn and fiend.
Shamans have mana tide.

Shamans don't have an effective big mana back ability, while having terrible efficiency on heals. Make tide viable.

I would love a glyph for Riptide that shortened the HoT and increased the initial amount.

Maybe make ES undispellable.

Un-nerf imp water shield.

There's just little changes like that, that would put shamans back on par with the other healers.

ES turned into an absorb shield per tick? (like w/e that pally shit is) or just not effected by MS and while on ourselves we can still have water shield.

shaman need to not be completely useless while trained, they're by far the EASIEST healer to set up a kill on because they're so helpless, have no dispels, and have low mobility :/

Their instant heals are also really bad, and they have to burn so much mana while being trained

Outside of heroism they also really don't offer much to their teams :[
