While I'm here, if anyone is interested I can update this pretty soon with a bunch of things, I continually add stuff to my own:

Enemy gains buffs
-barkskin
-bladestorm
-earth shield
-fel dom

Debuffs used on you/ your teammates
-chains of ice
-Deep Freeze
-fear effects
-hammer of justice
-immolate
-frost nova
-poly
-repentance
-entangling roots

-bubble/block/bop dispelled or faded (windows xp trumpet{?} sound)

-(enemy) shadowfiend spawned
-(enemy) mana tide dropped

-enemy fear ward dispelled
-friendly warrior fear used (lolol priest warrior 2s)

-roots being cast
-cyclone being cast

But yeah I can make a new version, not sure if anyone (besides me already) would find those useful, let me know

Would deffo be interested in that... Good work so far ! =]

Strange, because it works for my friend, but not for me. He runs a older version then i do but we have both putted it in the right files etc.

So after 2 hours of trying to get it to work i've now given up abit :x.

This is a great addon pack for MSBT and yes it does work. While it would be awesome if siggy managed to post an updated package of it, it's pretty nice sans an update.

It's possible to use the triggers in the pack without overwriting your existing MSBT config. To do this you need to open the file
World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\SavedVariables\MikScrollingBattleText.lua

In that file you'll find
MSBTProfiles_SavedVars = {
  ["profiles"] = {

At the bottom of the table there (but still inside the curly braces after ["profiles"] = {) you create a new profile by putting
 ["siggy"] = {

Once you've done that you can open the .lua file that comes in the zip and copy and paste everything from
 ["triggers"] = {

<a whole bunch of triggers>

 }

till it's enclosing curly brace.

This may sound all foreign but it makes a whole lot more sense and might even be partially self explanatory if you actually open up the files and look at them. You won't feel nearly as lost if you look at the files while reading this post.

If it doesn't work you most likely either forgot or botched some enclosing braces. To reduce the chance of you doing this I'd recommend maintaining the tabbing that exists for new sets of enclosing bracers.

Once you've done this you can go into WoW and type /msbt and change the profile being used to the one named siggy that we just created.

Additionally it's wise to back this file up before editing it in case you do break something.

Op here. Started playing again, I got the newest version of MSBT and installed this again and it works fine(/exactly the same) for me in almost all cases, except for some reason the mod seems to completely turn off, but it's only happened a few times over the course of a month or so...

i downloaded the pack but with the new msbt version i couldn't find where to dump the code from the lua file. so i put the sounds into the msbt sound folder and then set up the triggers manually.

there is a nice readme for msbt in the main msbt folder, which tells u exactly how to setup triggers, took me about 10 minutes to set up all of them.

I would post the file with the triggers in but would u believe it.... i cant find them in any of the files lol.

edit: was being a moron, the file goes into saved variables folder...... but not in the specific character's folder... d'oh!

At first I couldn't get it to work because I didn't read the instructions. Lua. file goes in

\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\your account name\SavedVariables

not the addons folder.

Now it works great.
