-penance and instant cast spells do not consume the shield haste buff
-with shield haste buff, pi, and glove enchant you can rez someone in 5.6s
-death also works on freeze trap, wyvern, repentance, scatter shot, hungering cold and blind
-sf now gives mana back when the target is shielded
-using hymn of hope while sf is out gives more mana back
-using inner focus with a spell will keep you out of the fsr
-mending always picks the target with the least % hp, and is invisible to enemies so it won't give your stealthed partner away
-its less mana to death something to bounce mending back to your partner than to actually cast it again
-penance receives a 300% spell coefficient compared to flash heal 80%, renew 188%
-when doing a heal ooc into a drink you can also get an instant cast mending or renew off at the end or you can just do an instant heal as you spam drink
-you cannot fear, arcane torrent, bounce mending, mass dispel or holy nova offensively through los from the middle of the spell but you can prayer or divine hymn through los
-martyrdom, focused will, and blessed resilience will proc off normal attacks against you when you have resilience
-using /cast !Mass Dispel macro makes it so u don't lose the targeting circle when clicking mass dispel more than once
-mass dispel attempts to remove bop before all other buffs
-mass dispelling a stealthed rogue can be used to put you in combat
-the best spell against spell reflect is mind soothe or ve
-channeling divine hymn won't keep you in combat
-usually only the first tick of penance is spell reflected/grounded
-on ruins or sewers you can jump and fear someone above provided u have los
-mana burn will not break fear on shielded/warded targets
-with 2100sp and all shield talents you absorb 5698 damage with a shield
-you can single buff spirit rank 5 after spirit rank 6
-mass dispel removes banish
-fear ward exactly when a fear comes to absorb it and keep your ward
-fear works an additional 4yards behind you if you are not slowed
-mind control has an increased chance to break the farther you are from the target
-fear/penance will occasionally not work but go on cd if you get cced simultaneously
-you can sometimes cast pain suppression while cced after you remove ps glyph

As well as repentance / scatter shot iirc.

- GLG can be used as a secondary SW:D CC breaker, not that many priests use this anymore.

mass dispel prioritizes bop when it's up (since it targets temporary immunity effects first)

A friend found out, you can fear and mana burn a target more then once without your fear breaking if they have power word: shield on

Don't know if this goes for other shields as well :D

You can dispell shit not in your LoS with MD (ie you're snared behing a pillar and you want to dispell Innervate on that Druid on the other side of the pillar)

when doing a heal ooc into a drink you can also get an instant cast mending, renew, or shield off at the end or you can just do an instant heal as you spam drink

I've noticed that casting shield still makes you stand up.

As far as jumping increasing the range on aoe spells, it certainly used to be the case, but they supposedly fixed it back in like, 2.4 or w/e.

Any instant casts don't consume the borrowed time buff, only the spells with cast times.
Penance works through walls like arcane missles, as long as you cast it before they go out of LoS.
If shield reflect/grounding is up, only the first tick of penance will be grounded/reflected, the next 2 ticks will attack the target.
Casting Divine Hymn won't keep you in combat by it's healing so it's a good way to get a drink off by being out of LoS.
When fighting a mage with mage armor, your most efficient damage spell is devouring plague.
With rapture, shielding yourself gives you both benefits the talents give. i.e, more mana back to yourself.
If you supression -> power word shield, your shield is much harder to break through.


Fix: Fear ward bug was fixed.

If shield reflect/grounding is up, only the first tick of penance will be grounded/reflected, the next 2 ticks will attack the target.

Only because of the speed. Anything with a travel time that is in the air while Grounding/Spell Reflect is up gets Reflected/Grounded; therefore, faster travel times means less chance of being Reflected/Grounded.

I'm pretty sure PW:S only makes you stand up from heal-drinking if you have the glyph, but it's been so long since I didn't have it that I'm not positive. :P The rapture bug still existed as of the last PTR build for 3.1 (too lazy to test on live so far), so when the PW:S is consumed/expires, also expect to stand up.

I usually do a flash heal/gheal -> mending or renew. Mending is particularly great for heal-drinking if you have a dot on yourself and are close enough, because it will bounce (even through pillars/LOS objects) while you drink, keeping your partner up and allowing you to extend your drink time.
