I'm pretty sure rogue teams are going to be winning hands-down against lock comps, all other things being equal.

I think sap needs to be retuned.

Actually until its time for rogues to be ShS again, I'd say sap can easily be countered by positioning, unless its a all-dps team which can burst ( e.g. RM ) versus lock/healer.

Me and my warlock don't abuse this bug, we get away with it pretty nicely ( he has shield, mending and renew on himself and he goes on half of map to get himself in combat, although he puts pet on opponent for insta-combat as well ) while I'm staying near the beginning zone. Best case scenario, I get sapped and rogue opens up on lock when its like 3 secs left on sap.

Warlocks are done in 3vs3 in 3.1

With rmp going to be absolutely dominating, there´s no way locks (even more destro) can compete anymore if this goes live.

Grats you can beat shitty Rogue teams that do dick for damage.

If you were to face a good team you'd realize that the Warlock would die in a cheap shot every time if you didn't get in combat with the bug.

no backstab glyph but youre still going to flop to a rogue by himself

there will probably be a lot more rushing out the gate or subbing in of druids

Well, maybe not to that extent. But for sure, you're going to be using all sorts of defensive cooldowns to offset any bad things a good PMR can do. The worst part will most likely be that you'll have to blow all those defensive cooldowns and you'll be behind almost no matter what you do.

I've just now started playing without the combat bug to relearn to play around it.

Should really make sap not affect beasts again so shamans have SOME chance at surviving, fuck.

I died today in a CS -> Mutilate -> Eviscerate -> GLG -> Mutilate -> Mutilate -> Eviscerate.

That's like 2 seconds longer than CS.

Removing this bug is going to make the game even more imbalanced.

It's sad really, that glitches in the game make it MORE balanced rather than broken.

Hmm, don´t know, from paladin/rogue/lock pov I don´t see us winning anymore even if the rogue peels their rogue with all cds... seriously, the minimun damage the rogue can do to you+mage+priest damage it´s enought to almost kill you in a cheap shot, then you have to deal with the cc chain on the healer, and I´m talking here with a healer that will have aura mastery/bubble, don´t even want to imagine against them with a shaman or a priest...

Oh, rogue/random melee/healer is going to be fun too.

Yeah man I'm sure you know better than every lock thats posted so far in this thread (including a bglad and a merc/bglad).

Rogues are competitive vs lock teams with the bug, without it it will be completely one sided.

sap is a sensitive mechanic

playing as a rogue/mage team/healer team, if we can't get saps against some teams we're going to be at a huger(er) disadvantage (hunter teams) but against some teams if we get a sap, we win automatically

I know on my warrior it's game over if a rogue team sets up in 2v2 with a sap on my healer

basically, they need to take another look at sap (think about giving it a much shorter duration) or they need to make games last a lot longer so one ability at the starting doesn't decide the game
