well my shaman team mate got hacked and all of his 80's got deleted (he's way too much into internet porn) and before they deleted his characters they started running exploits on his toon to get him banned for a few days so that night me and him went out and got smashed when i got back, still extremely drunk, i decided to play with this random paladin and we coasted to 2200, it's so stupid how much easier it is to win games with a paladin rather than a shaman. me and my shaman friend were coasting around 1900 to 2060 but couldnt ever make it over the 2060 point.

originally i was just going to make some random post, but has anyone, for a frost spec thought about running ret or enhance 2x dps and with that frost spec did you think about running icy touch glyph over ghoul glyph? the reason i ask this is because 25 runic power / icy touch will be a good way to set up burst. although you will still probably use obliterate over icy touch + plague strike when your going for burst, but being able to set up burst rotations faster and possibly setting up rime procs for the burst seems almost too good to pass up. (like death grip+hungering cold>4x FS>howling blast>Obliterate(x2 if you had a rime proc)>frost strike then resetting it)

also one more question while i'm here, i just graduated college and i'm moving to Tokyo in June and all i'll have time to do is arenas and such (no raiding) should i transfer my toon to an oceanic server? or do you think the latency will be ok on my current US server to do arenas?

just a quick update, with diseases on the target

icy touch 1300 - 1500 crit for 2400-2600 (on the boss dummy)

plague strike 800-900 crit for 1700-1899

blood strike 700-900 crit for 2400-2550

obliterate 1600-1900 crit for 3700-4100

frost strike 2100-2500 crit for 5000-6000

howling blast 1800-2200 crit for 4000-5400

without the glyph of the ghoul the ghoul is hitting for 180-250 and critting for 450-600

his special is hitting for 350-400 and critting for 700 to 800

gnaw is hitting for about 60 damage

so with no crits in a 7 sec window you can get about 17640 w/o any crits. since you have death chill and killing machine you will probably at least get 2 or 3 crits but the crit damage can be considered canceled out by the heals of that 2 sec window after strang or HoJ

Yes Dk/Pally is a lot better than any other DK comp. Dual DPS comps arent that good. If you still want to try it, get a Mage partner and run shadowfrost.

i was thinking about double dps for next season after holy gets a bit of a nerf where ret and frost get a bit of a buff thus you would have 1 min cc chains for good melee range burst
