Confirmed, on beta I can no longer put UA on two different targets.

They really have a hard on for nerfing affliction this patch.

Edit, assuming this isn't a bug atleast, but it seems a bit deliberate to me for it just to be a bug.

Affliction completely dead then?

~25% upfront damage slash
Multi target dotting butchered, correct me if I'm wrong but we can only dot secondary targets with corruption and CoA?

I don't like UA, I think it's way too OP, but this is just plain wrong.
What good is dotprotection and dots if you can only have it on 1 target -.-

SMART MOVE, BLIZZARD.

Let's hope that this is a bug.

I remember Hosebeast saying he knew someone who worked for Blizzard, and mentioned this change a few weeks ago.

He said something along the lines of UA was either going to be given a short cooldown, the penalty for dispelling lowered, or made single target only.

I have a solid feeling it's not a bug.

Edit: Incidentally, would you mind checking what damage people take for dispelling it? Might have been nerfed too.

I can't imagine this being a bug, seems deliberate. I'll co-sign on this being a retarded change at least.

this just a gigantic nerf all around and it seems like the class that gets the benefit most out of it is paladins...

i really dont understand 3.1, at all.

"Love should be put into action!"
screamed the old hermit.
Across the pond an echo
tried and tried to confirm it.

For every step blizzard takes in the right direction, they take a thousand back.

pretty much this. I thought 3.1 was meant to buff lock survivability/burst or something yet all we get is nerfs. Bro we can't be more represented than warriors bro.

Go: http://forums.worldo...&sid=1&pageNo=2

Completely unwarranted change and must be reversed asap.

Because as it stands, the reason warlocks are mostly viable is due to the dot nature of the class and the means of doing damage. Removing yet another dot from our arsenal is slowly but surely gutting one of our only viable specs in 2s and 3s.

If Blizzard wants to implement more of a casted gameplay, then they need to rethink all of the spell interrupts in the game and implement non-frontal spell casting.

This kills the viability against Holy/Dk in 2`s.

Basically u have to decide whether u want to fear the dk while all ure already nerfed dps on the pally gets dispelled, or u can try to dps the pally without dispell while the dk is raping ure ass.

Seems to be a nerf just for the lol's

How are we meant to kill anything now?

Look at it this way. You're fighting paladin + x. Not really a rare situation.

You need to apply UA to the paladin's partner, else fears will be dispelled.

Now, you have to kill a paladin using only dispellable corruption, CoA, haunt and shadowbolts.

Impossible?

Not trying to be a troll or anything, but aren't locks absolutely ripping through the tr right now? Doesn't that mean they don't need survival or burst buffs?

Sample size of 10 doesn't really prove anything.

Without meaning to sound whiney, TR aside, we're the least represented class both 2k+ and 2.2k+. SK-gaming top 100 3v3 and 5v5 both put us at 10th.

Nobody is saying that it's not possible to do well with the class. What we're saying is that we don't need nerfing.
