• Lifebloom: Mana cost of all ranks doubled. When Lifebloom blooms or is dispelled, it now refunds half the base mana cost of the spell per application of Lifebloom, and the heal effect is multiplied by the number of applications

I'm not really sure what to make of this, depending on what happens if you dispel a bloom without removing the whole stack.

Bit of a strange change, so instead of keeping a 3x stack on a target we should keep letting them "fall" off ?

That would be correct.

Rolling multiple bloom stacks on several tanks in pve is very powerful.

It is much harder to do that in pvp. As long as the life bloom actually blooms, then this is a buff in pvp. If I read it correctly, the bloom scales with how many stacks you have, so you can still get good effect out of stacking it, but you will want to let it bloom.

Roll the blooms - go oom (in pvp)

GC not along was quoted saying that stacking 3x lifebloom on tanks was a very strong coeificient heal, and that they wanted to change lifebloom but so that it would not change the above statement. So i guess this is pritty much just a pvp buff/change.

any idea on how much the effect is "multiplied" with multiple stacks? It could get a bit outrageous in pvp if the multiplier is... dare I say.. OVER NINE THOUSAND

1 stack will bloom for 1000
2 stacks will bloom for 2000
3 stacks will bloom for 3000

thats the idea.

Why does it seem like a nerf to me?

When your running oom now it's going to be even hard to heal, even though you get the mana back in 8 seconds... I would rather have it all along rather than waiting for it to proc back to me.

And the multiplier? So are we supposed to stack three lifeblooms (at a ridiculous mana cost) 8 seconds before someone gets bursted so it blooms at the right time? lol

It'll be nice not being able to heal when your floating around 1k mana against a lock or something because our new and improved double mana costing lifebloom plans to give us mana back after it blooms!

They should have left the mana cost the same and still given us the half back after bloom.

Repeating myself from WoW forums:

You're all missing one aspect. (I'll refer as "100% LB cost" to the current lifebloom cost)
Currently, to keep a x3 lifebloom stack up, you need to spend 100% LB cost every 10s.
After this change, to keep up a x3 lifebloom stack, you can either:
- Let it bloom, spend 3 GCDs every 10s on restacking it, get 300% LB cost back but PAY 600% LB cost every time. 300% more cost, 2 more GCDs.
- Don't let it bloom, spend 1 GCD every 10s on refreshing it, and pay 200% LB cost. Or 100% more cost, same GCDs.

It's a nerf either frigging way.

Fuck this game tbh. They want to make healing "less spammy", then they change my 2-3 LB 2 WG rotation in 10s to a "lol apply lifebloom whenever" rotation.

How does this react to purges/dispells? Does the entire stack of LBs need to be dispelled for the mana to be restored, or is it just like before where if we purge lifeblooms they 'bloom' and the caster gets mana for it. Feels like a buff, at least in that sense.

Wait wait wait, 3 Lifeblooms don't keep people alive now and our healing is incredibly weak AND THEY ARE NERFING IT?!
Thank god I have an 80 hunter.

I'm sorry but this is just fucking dumb unless we get some incredible shit to compensate.

Actually, I'm thinking that if they return all of our mana of all our lifeblooms put into a rolled stack it'd be a buff, if they don't its just awful

I think they intend for it to be a buff, the mechanics are just sounding like they'll be wonky - it seems likely that they'll retune it

I really hope blizzard does something about this. because the Impossibleness of cleave to beat any comp, really, is just an excruciating process that involves immense skill and luck. Buff warriors death knights and pallys, nerf mages and rogues.
