Sure it stacks. It's like the question, if two cars crash frontal into one another, does the inert force stack? -.-

Why doesn't druids and priests get -50% heal, if they use innervate/shadowfiend?

comparing a 1 minute cd to a 5 or 6 minute cd is totally justifiable amirite? good paladins used plea when their partner was topped off and abused pillars. Not too mention shadowfiend is 1 shottable and easily kited and innervate is still dispellable. I see this as a buff to pvp palas and mostly just a nerf to pve.

haha wow had to sneak in heal drinks, purge plea on cooldown, and constantly shock/hex palis to make them heal inefficiently to even come close to matching their efficiency and run them oom on my shaman. basically you have to score a kill before you're oom or you lose now, because you're really not going to be able to run a pali oom (even if he's not jotw spec)

yeah to even come close to not going oom before them(which i still did pretty often), I had to spam drinks every chance, chase them everywhere manaburning, and run like crazy to try to dispell plea.

I'd settle for non-dispellable Divine Spirit.

PRIESTS; SETTLING FOR LESS SINCE S1.

Originally they made divine plea 20% but dispellable, from 50%.

Making it dispellable was what justified the change, so going back isn't really that bad. People wanted it's use to be tactical. If you want to completely shit on the ability I don't really care, it's just kind of transparent.

The prevailing problem here is that paladins have no reason to spec deep into the holy tree in 2s. Is JotW pretty fucking nuts? Yep. But the holy tree, beyond Infusion of Light, is so lackluster for 2s that you don't feel bad about giving any of it up. Long range judgments are nice, but they are hardly mandatory. 15% spell haste is usually overkill. Beacon of Light lets you heal really well on when damage is being split, which happens exactly never in 2s.

If they want to rearrange the ret tree to discourage holy pallies from dipping into it, I'm fine with that, but there needs to be some love given to the bottom of the holy tree. It's worthless for 2s. The change in JotP to add 25% more damage to judgments was a step in the right direction, but 25% of 600 damage doesn't exactly get my dick hard. If Sacred Cleansing wasn't the most RNG spell ever, it might be appealing (seriously, a 30% chance to apply a buff that has a 30% chance to work?). And 40 yard judgments became almost obsolete when they added the 30 yard taunt (thanks for that completely unnecessary buff to holy pallies, Blizzard!).

The ret tree makes holy paladins offensive and proactive, a trait that has been sorely missing from the class. Does it allow us to be too offensive and proactive? In some situations, yes. But if we routinely skip the last 3-4 tiers in the holy tree to frolic in the ret tree, you have to ask why; it's not just because the middle of the ret tree is good, but also because the bottom of the holy tree is bad (at least for 2s).

Does a tree have to be amazing just for 2s? From your post I assume you like deep holy for 3s/5s. Is this bad that it isn't also the best spec for 2s?

Am i the only one who thinks the last thing {PvP wise} Paladins needed was a buff?
  • 0

the amount of resources required to fake a moon landing would only be 25x the amount it required to actually land on the moon.

It isn't a buff, it's requiring the ability to be used with a little bit of planning.

the fact is Divine Plea is retardedly OP for holy paladins. Anything that isn't a nerf is a buff I don't care what you say. It STILL needs to be nerfed.
