I think I might give fury a try as well.I have a few questions regarding the gear required for it.

First of all how much hit is needed for pvp fury?

Secondly,I don't have access to much pve gear(just a few heroic epics and 2x T7 atm,not so lucky with Naxx drops and we just started raiding 10man last week).

I have Cleaver from HoL and Destroyer. Are those two good enough to put out some decent damage? Or I should just remain arms and wait for better gear before trying fury?

Thanks in advance :)

PS: Oh,one more thing.I play with a shaman in 2v2.Should I quit thinking about fury in 2v2 because of that? Or it shouldn't matter...

Your gear is about similar to mine, and fury was a huge boost to my ratings.

(Current ratings are off, free character moves off Warsong and all.)

Anyway, as long as you have 7-10% hit, you should be ok.

(I run with 8.7, using the hit trinket off Nexus heroic instead of my mirror sadfase)

Of course just adjust your points in precision and all so you get the 10%.

Fury is insane for pressuring, pretty much right out of the gate, blow blood rage, get a bit more extra rage, ZOMGTRINKET+DEATHWISH+RECKLESSNESS WHIRLWIND HS BLOODTHIRST. Either you get your gib, or a quick bubble.

Then you play offensive as fuck and get their dps to either focus on peeling instead of gibbing your sham, or if you're fighting a double dps, let them run about scared and heroic fury out of the frost nova to finish your kill.

Point: Go fury.

Loving fury. The damage and burst is great. As arms i feel like lv 70 in terms of damage.

Still hoping arms gets some serious love in future... really like arms play style but now its just broke.

If I want to play like a Rogue, I'll play my Rogue.

Fury isn't even remotely similar to rogues, actually. It's more similar to level 60 warrior PVP (which was fury, too). That comparison might make sense if we had lots of incapacitates/stuns/CC.

What?

You don't remember Fury in PVE gear dominating level 60 PVP?

You could argue that MS was useful in group play, but fury with the ridiculous rage gen at the time was insane.

Better? =)

Arms buffs are inevitable eventually though, GC was already talking about Slam buffs, the only question is whether they will be strictly PVE buffs or also apply to PVP.

I just really don't like the playstyle of fury. I don't know what it is, but I feel terrible gimped. It's much better against rage starvation teams, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't feel like a Warrior.

I guess it's just perception, I've always loved Fury far more than Arms, back in the day playing as Fury with Naxx gear at level 60. I really hated playing Arms in TBC. It's a bit ironic that now that Fury is viable, I really don't have the desire to play much right now.

I agree with fury not feeling like a warrior. As I said I prefer arms, but fury is nice to play in its own way(although i wouldn't want to play that for long).

I rarely(comparing to when i'm arms) use abilities such as overpower, revenge, rend etc as fury.

oh and arms doesnt have double rng miss on whites hihi

This is true indeed.

Anyway,in theory arms should indeed have an advantage over fury in 5s,unless you run with a hunter mr dwarf? I badly need a bath right now and can't check your armory:D.Unfortunately I haven't got the chance to play any proper 5s yet.

We run:
Unholy DK/ Fury Warrior/ Frost Mage/ Holy Pally / Disc Priest
right now.

Earlier in the season I was definitely arms and in order to get wins we had to play heavy target switching.
A week? or two? ago I switched to fury, and loved the fact that Now I can focus fire on a target solo, and apply enough pressure. While we can still switch for a burst kill (though slighly less effective due to burst healing) we now can play "split dps" strategy if our opponents lack aoe healing, or we can sunder/focus a priest and kill him significantly faster (ie before he goes oom)

Fury right now is just giving us more potential strategies to use against opposing teams.

Unfortuantely, I do miss bladestorm against the various cleave teams being run.

Another thing which I wanted to ask regarding my last post about fury, the spec.

Is there an universal spec that everyone uses or you have to spec something specific if you go with a certain class or not.For example does the spec change if you go with a shaman rather than a a paladin?

I would like a link to what spec I should use to try in 2v2 with a shaman.

PS: Another thing,I want to run :warrior::deathknight:R:shaman: in 3v3.Is it a viable setup? Will it work as well if I swap the :deathknight: with a feral :druid:?

Thanks in advance.

No, it's all pretty much the same aside from a few minor choices.

See mine under the Talents section, most of it is completely neccessary simply because we have so little variation in our best talents.

Never going to pass up stuff like 6% more damage all the time, 10% more damage on all specials, deep wounds, impale etc.

The biggest choice seems to be "how much do you value improved zerker stance"

Some people have 0/5 and get full precision/intensify rage/zerker rage/iron will

I personally have 5/5 and skimp on a talent point here and there.

I think picking up Intensify over Imp Berserker is pretty dumb considering the current state of arena, but that's just me.

I'm not used to priests lasting beyond the first 10s.

Then again, I don't play 5v5.
