Resilience Rating:
82 Rating = -1% chance to be crit and -1% dot damage, -2.2% crit damage

Resilience Cap: 1230
Resilience to cap Cheat Death: 922

Hit Rating:
32.77 Rating = 1% Chance to hit.

Without Precision:

Special attacks = 164 Hit Rating
White attacks = 787 Hit Rating

With Precision:

Special attacks = 0 Hit Rating
White attacks = 623 Hit Rating

These are all base numbers. A mage with 5/5 Arctic Winds requires another 163.85 Hit Rating to cap. Scorpid Sting on you requires another 98.31 Hit rating to cap. I haven't included these in the final values because gearing towards capping under very specific circumstances isn't particularly smart. The numbers are here if you're interested though.

Expertise Rating:
32.79 Rating = 1% Dodge & Parry reduction.

Crit Rating:
45.91 Rating = 1% Chance to crit.
83.3 Agility = 1% Chance to crit. (For a rogue. Agi:Crit varies by class, number may not be accurate for all classes)

Armor Penetration Rating:
15.39 Rating = 1% Armor Ignore.

Haste Rating:
32.79 Rating = 1% Haste

Stats w/ Deadly Gear:
The follow are the expected stats with full deadly gear and all pvp accessories, without gems and enchants.

note: approximate values, also excludes stat-affecting talents

25.79% Crit (includes crit from agi)
2421 Attack Power (includes ap from agi)

CHANGELOG
v0.1 - Corrected Hit Rating numbers. Changed gear to be closer to correct hit cap. Thanks to Deleth.
v0.2 - Added enchant info.
v0.3 - Added Crit rating. Thanks to Sizka.
v0.4 - Added expected health/crit chance.
v0.5 - Corrected resilience numbers. 82 resilience = 2.2% crit dmg reduction as of Patch 3.0.3. Consequently the cheat death cap is 922. Thanks to Drumbum.

TODO:
-Add enchant info.
-Add summation for expected health and crit chance.
-Maybe clean up the enchant formatting? I'm not entirely happy with it. Suggest cleaner alternative formatting if you've got it.

Credit and thanks to: Belarin for the idea, some of the formatting, and stealing some of his info.

Sources: wowwiki, wowhead, chardev

Let me know if you see any errors. This was done on very little sleep and formatted entirely in notepad, so there's probably some mistakes in there.

Also feel free to make suggestions for covering more topics. I think I've gotten all of the major ones.

I noticed the hit rating is based on raidbosses, which count as lvl 83. The PvP-hitcaps are a bit lower, not sure how much though.

You're right, it's 131.08 less hit. I'll update that in a moment.

I'll also have to change the gear I used otherwise I'll be vastly over the cap :/ But don't have the time or patience to do that at the moment so I'll get it done later today.

Berserking is a Mongoose-esque weapon proc that gives you +400 AP but reduces your armor by 25%.

Personally I wouldn't suggest using this enchant in pvp because of this, however there are arguments to be made for having it. If you choose to use it then you'll want a way to remove it in case you get trained by a melee during a proc.

Great guide, the berzerking-macro was a great addittion. Personally I'll see how much I get targeted in arena and how much physical dps classes I face before deciding wheter or not I should use it, but at the moment it seems tempting, and would add a bit metagame to the "oh so simple" class.

Im just going to use accuracy and say fuck a debuff that gets you killed in stuns.

For s5 im planning on PVE cloak / neck / rings / mirror of lolap / pve daggers / thrown and pvp everything else, because this gear I just mentioned lacks agility, and therefor naxx gear / maly gear / sartharon gear has better itemization overall when its stacking 2 base stats, 2 melee stats and ap instead of the 1 base stat, 1 melee dps stat, resilience, and ap that the pvp gear has. Its a significant difference.

is there any rating for crit rating by chance?

also would beserking overrides mongoose? i am still not sure if 400ap bonus is lot better than crit + haste + agil buff.. any thoughts?

Good catch. Added crit.

I haven't personally tested it, but as far as I know Berserking stacks with Mongoose. It's also worth nothing that Berserking stacks with itself (i.e. if you've got two weapons with berserking you can have them both proc simultaneously for +800AP -50%Armor [multiplicative rather than additive I assume])

Personally for PvP I'll most likely be going Accuracy (+25Crit +25Hit) MH weapon chain OH, and I'll probably swap in a second offhand with another enchant once I get it depending on the comp I'm facing.

As for directly comparing Mongoose vs Berserking, Berserking will give you higher damage output while it's active. Berserking does have the downside of being potentially dangerous (if you you're being attacked by melee when you get a proc) or it has the potential to be wasted if you have to click it off for the same reason. Mongoose will still be good though. It really comes down to personal preference of risk vs reward. Do you think the potential for danger and wasted procs makes up for the extra damage you'll get? It probably would, in my opinion.

ya.. i'm also thinking about having weapon chains since now both rogues and warriros can use disarm abilities. or i can simply could buy or obtain spare weapon or something lol.

but i can see that berserking does do higher dmg output than mongoose. also, i'm not worrying about the armor reduction whenever it procs since i belive rogue can survive pretty well with other skill abilities even with less armor. though what i'm having in curiousity is the agility buff vs ap buff. agil basically buffs your dodge / ap / crit / and also haste (which helps a lot in pvp for poison applying if i'm correct)chance while ap only buffs yoru attack power.. so even if we get more attack power bonus i don't know if that could cover up the lose of crit dmg esp for mut build. oh sorry lol i didn't mention the spec ,, but ya i was actually was going to ask weapon enchants for mut spec. other than that , i think i can prolly just test berserker out whenever i get decent lvl 80 weapon.

thx for ur tips ~!

o btw, can i get the numbers for agility per / crit rating -_-? lol srry i'm just bad at math.

As awesome as 400 AP from Berserker sounds I'm leaning towards mongoose being the better enchant for PvP as mut. The crit and dodge will be very useful, especially with rogues being a better focus target than they were at 70 with cheat death, which is yet another reason not to risk getting gibbed with 25 or 50% less armor. Weapon chain is also pretty tempting however, and with the hit it has on it that could go a long way to helping us reach the hit cap.

Any particular reason the Wintergrasp Resilience shoulder enchant is left out, would have thought that's pretty desirable considering how hard it is to get res at the start.
