I would argue that Undead is the best, although it won't make or break you, I know arcane torrent can be very useful at times, but being able to get out of a fear is fresh to death!

With warlocks not being such a big problem for mages due to the latest changes and the upcoming HUGE buff through the higher ranks of mage armor in WotLK, I think WotF isn't THAT much of a must have for horde mages as it used to be. If I had the choice again, I would roll bloodelf for arc torrent and the 2% reduced chance to be hit by spells.

My 2on2 mate and me used to make jokes when facing troll mages. No serious PvP'er would ever roll troll for mage pvp, there's just nothing useful on trolls.
Troll mages kind of make up the bonus of having a dual glaive rogue in 2on2 - they negate it :D

Definitely Undead. This is coming from someone who re-rolled for wotf.

Mage armor reduces the duration of harmful magical effects by 50%.

I would say Troll.
Think 15% less duration for snares on you and a good haste trinket

With the new Mage Armor, Fear = lol not a problem.
Maybe BE, for the AoE silence and magic resistance.

I don't think Berserking is worth giving up Arcane Torrent or even WotF. 15% reduced snare time is no great deal imho. The only class you can have problems with which snares you is a rogue. This rogue is either shs skilled (which means you will have crippling poison up on you for the whole fight), or he's not and you will blink away = win.

Regarding Undeads, WotF seems a bid like an overkill to antifears to me because of the new Mage Armor ranks. Cutting the duration of fear AND magic DoTs will make warlocks suffer.

New mage armor owns fear, BE is probably best with the racial changes, but undead still look the most badass and the differences are pretty negligible now (compared to the night and day they were troll/be vs undead previously) so it really doesn't matter.

Pick something that won't make you want to gouge your eyes out whenever you cast something.

Undead male casting animations are just so f**king win I would pay 20$ to change the gender of my character. Don't know why I rolled female UD some years ago.
I like the looks of BE female, but the casting animations as mentioned before are... well, "average".

I use my wand all the time in PvP!

But really, BE female animations are kinda meh. There's also a lot of clipping errors that don't look like they'll ever be fixed.

That said, I wouldn't reroll to any other race.
