It's not so much that you'd be forced into a mangle spam style of play, it's that you'd be taking points away from other talents which are far generally better for PvP.

With the Bear Form nerf to PI, I would drop that and go:
http://www.wowhead.c...bdbeRhcuAo0gczb

I don't really see any feral talents here I am giving up. I mean it all comes down to what lvl 80 pvp is like, but if it's gonna end up being similar to 70 pvp then I don't really know what I would change here...

I'm curious about what you think would be a good spec or at least what are some good talents that I'm overlooking.

I'd say that maxing naturalist is absolutely essential. 10% to EVERYTHING.

The build i like.

I can deal with losing 4% kitty crit in order to pick up PT.

Losing 6% dodge in bear for tanking melee makes me slightly sad, but feral just seems to have too many seemingly worthwhile talents to choose from.

i dunno man. maybe i need some convincing.

Obviously I'm a rogue but I ran rogue/feral to glad with Natalia and have played her char on beta quite a lot.

http://www.wowhead.c...ddbeRhIuho0Eczb

We ran that to 1900-2000 on the beta realms

Been working fine and have been running something similar at 70.

http://www.wowhead.c...MscbdbeR0Iuho0E

Obviously no PT due to the fact the -30% dmg on stun is bugged until 3.0.3

http://www.wowhead.c...fbdbeRhfuAo0E0z

With how crap mana is at 80 (8700 at 70, 6700 at 80) and how high shifting costs are you would go OOM so fast.

A mangle based build doesn't seem very good for pvp where burst is far more important than sustained damage, and you don't really have the same concept of damage rotations.

"You must be behind your target."

I think mangle builds are completely fine in PVP if you don't want to take shred, They can do burst, have insane CP generation and gives you much more free energy to use.

Using Rake/Mangle as your main attacks pretty much, Shred can still be used on omen procs if you wish.

King of the Jungle is just <3 freaking Renatakis every 30 sec. Imagine the combos you could pull off.

I'm not gonna take primal precision personally.. just not enough points to go around

as for imp mangle, its only 6 energy points.. which yes is huge when you gained energy in chunks (20 every 2 seconds or so), now that its a gradual increase, your saving half a second which in my opinion is not worth it for what you would have to drop

however, if you are going to be only using mangle which I know some people are, it may be worth while to get that and drop shredding attacks (if you plan on using shred you have to get shredding attacks cause your saving about 2 seconds with it)

According to Elitist Jerks, Naturalist is one of the worst PvE DPS talents per talent point available to druids. Just below PI.

Yeah, PvE dps, and doesnt include the healing touch reduction... but still. Its not a bad talent, but nowadays you just dont have the points to go more then 2/5.

In my build, I took those 3 points out of Naturalist and put them in Imp. Mangle. But they might make their way into Primal Tenacity, still not sure.

imo.

i dont think nurturing instincts will be worth it.

i personally like protector of the pack for the times where you're forced into bear. bear, enrage, berserk is actually decent damage.

=)) ((

u must have King of the Jungle

and Primal Tenacity- this depends on) but mostly time on arena and ngs it helps.

+ new talent -50% manocost to shapeshifting must be added soon
+ if protector of the pack be changed and gives always -12% dps on u in bear ill take it-)

No brutal impact and pred instincts makes for a pretty poor decision. PI is more of a PvE talent.
