Not decided 100% how it should look, but i think i'll go for a sub spec with a swap MH to dagger macro for shadowdance.

i think people are underestimating sub-daggers. Offers mobility, huge utility, and the dps wont be much worse than it is now (will spike a lot more), granted mutilate will always be better for daggers from a dps stand point. Is the dps worth not having shadow step, -5 mins on prep, and all the other goodies in the sub tree? (shadow dance just looks like fun with all the routes you can take with it)

I like the direction blizz is taking rogues, making them trade dps for utility :)

They need to fire that Asian guy.

He knows hardly anything about the game apart from what logic dictates, its as if he is there to make it sound more official.

He can't talk about taking a shit without making it sound official.

" I am going to take a shit here at MLG Raleigh featuring World of Warcraft 3 versus 3 arena.

Spambush spec is fun. OMG CLOTHIE CRITS!

I'd steal a point from relentless and deadliness to pick up waylay, though. It's not as bad as some make it out to be.

should be like seafate hemo, only a lot more damage and even more combopoints. TBH I don't even want to bother with a shadowdance macro and learning it. but it'd be easy to move those points to 5/5/51

Vile poisons are still pretty important. 41 /5 / 15 here, just because im too lazy to respec at 80 and ill just level 43 / 5 / 23

Sub daggers is pretty crappy at any level, the fundamental issue is that backstab scales for shit compared to all the talent buffs to ss, and the base functionality of mut / hemo, which are talents designed to be specific damage dealers and are built stronger than ss or backstab. Since backstabs positional requirement doesnt boost its damage at all, it will remain lackluster without talents making it hit for somthing less than complete shit when it doesnt crit.

I was plannin to you this...but then I started thinking

Is that 2% Crit from Master Poisoner even worth it? Would the 2pts in Serrated blades be better spent?

just playing around a bit, what do you guys think of the following speccs:

HARP 0/34/27 (not so different from pre 3.0 but now has relentless strikes and better energy regen)
http://wotlk.wowhead...bVobuZe0ddhhkdM

SF/hemo (also quite similar to pre 3.0, seems like a weaker muti specc)

That spec fails in so many ways its not even funny.

2p in murder is about 2x better than 2p in deadlyness.
Now that you doent take 2p in deadlyness anylonger you can drop 1p in higend senses.
Now you got 1 free talentpoints put that and one you steal from somewhere, probably from imp ks or murder and put in deadly brew.
Personly id take 2p from blood splatter to imp evis since well you got cooldblood but thats just a matter of opinion.

Now the spec looks like this.
http://wotlk.wowhead...MRiroZZe0ddhhzd

Id still consider it trash compared to 5/5/51 but its atleast alot better than before.

thanks for the input, haven't really looked closely at the changes yet.

Is eviscerate actually going to be good? If so, WTF?

Havent played on beta but on ptr i think the dmg is where it shuld be.

Depenant on talents obviously but slightly less than a mutilate or like 2 hemos.

Can someone please help me out here? I'm really confused by some of these builds and maybe I am just overestimating some of these talents. Sorry, as this post might be a little long.

1) Almost none of these builds have Focused Attacks. Am I really off my rocker, or should this not be a staple in mutilate builds? I have played on the PTR, and you are constantly getting that to proc you some energy back. Hasn't that always been one of mutilate's biggest drawbacks? Energy starvation?

2) Vile Poisons. If I remember correctly wound is a single debuff now, not 5 max. Meaning much easier to dispel. Not only do you want them to not be healed for max, but you also need them poisoned for mutilate damage.

3) Dual-Wield AND Opportunity also scream staple to me for a mutilate build. Remember, we could not have both of these before. This accounts for a huge damage increase.

4) Rupture vs Eviscerate. Eviscerate is finally scaling better, and might actually be a legit finisher. If so, do we pump Imp Evis and leave off Blood Spatter? It's pretty tempting to max both Blood Spatter and Serrated Blades. 50% rupture is no joke. So which should we use?

5) Do we have some new learned skill that I slept through that is allowing people to drop the 5 points from Seal Fate? If so what is it called, and will we have that at patch?

Thanks for reading.
