Warrior

  • Bladestorm now deals full damage in PvP situations.
    • Developers’ Notes: Bladestorm is intended to be a strong damage cooldown for the Arms Warrior. In Legion Beta testing, Arms Warriors felt too strong, so we reduced the damage Bladestorm did in PvP. We feel we’re back to a place where returning it to full damage makes sense.

 

  • Execute now deals 15% more damage in PvP situations.
    • Developers’ Notes: Execute is designed to be a signature strength of the Warrior, and should always be the right choice on targets within Execute range in PvP. We’ve found that there are some situations where that wasn’t true, so we’re increasing the damage of Execute to make it always the right choice.

Should give baseline Storm Bolt in the current state of the game for wars to feel viable outside of a few comps imho.

played a few games today in 3s, it feels really weird having slow on global CD, our dmg is already low, and we have to use a global just to put up a slow that deals no dmg? Warrior class is definately dead, I faced a boomkin doing more than 3x times my damage and enhance doing 2x damage, also some warlocks both affli & destro not even casting and still doing twice my damage?

the point is not buffing warrior dmg, the real solution would be nerfing fuckin rubbish stuff like the dmg dealing specs you mentioned. game is so shit atm it makes s12 god comp/warriors look amazing fun to face

I was barely able to survive with the dmg nerf, but this hamstring nerf literally destroys our class. I would usually try make it work regardless of nerf, but who in their right minds would play with a warrior instead of any other class in the game atm. There is currently no hope.

Honestly Bladestorm still feels garbage. Still feels better to hold on to it to break roots or to immune a hoj or poly. Execute buff is a good but I still feel more comfortable using a MS or Overpower to land a kill. These buffs aren't enough to make hamstring nerf irrelevant and doesn't really do anything for us in the grand scheme of things...

Blizzards solution to warrior is always more damage for the last two expansions. They gut any utility that makes the class unique or able to provide a small amount of team support and replace it with damage. Soon warriors will just have charge and ms. Done with this garbage for now.

can't understand why they don't remove ms from random classes and give warrior a idk 50% ms or even higher.

also maybe old overpower back to punish bad gameplay jk healers get rewards for being interrupted nowadays.

 

warrior has nothing special other classes don't have.

NO, the problem is warrior damage, even if they nerf these classes damage, we still wont be able to kill ANYTHING.... ,let them keep their DMG but buff ours to equal dmg... That is the real issue, we dont want long games

agree, bladestorm still does no dmg, execute buff doesnt matter cuz you wont be getting anyone below 50% hp anyways

that is the approach that has pretty much turned pvp into what it is.  remember back in the day when GC said the game was supposed to be played in a wounded state? Healing wouldn't instantly top you off, damage wouldn't instantly kill you?  That's the way the direction should have been, instead it went in:  give "x" class the ability to one shot, and instead of nerfing it, buff "y" class to be able to one shot.  Etc, etc, etc.   With the health pools we have now no one should be hitting for over 300k, if even that high.  However heals should also not be healing for 800k crits, etc.  As well as hybrids shouldn't be able to heal for the same as real healers, if not sometimes even more.  I laugh every game a feral druid/ret pala/enhance sham has as much healing as damage
