in case you didn't know, now each UA has an individual debuff.

when combined with rot and decay, you can keep up to 5 stacks active at the same time.

make use of it before it's nerfed.

That's how it always worked with Rot and Decay, but you could have got higher stack "dmg" with uas.

Whats up with the dispel damage its hardly a scratch. Its most likely better to just multidot than stack up ua on one target..

it actually isn't.

it only gave 2 secs of a single UA into the UA stack, but now it gives 2 sec x how many UAs you have active since the stacks are now individual.

in 7.0 whether you cast 1 UA or 5 UAs, refreshing with rot and decay always added the same damage to the stack, but how it'll add multiplied dmg.

but as others have pointed out, yeah the dispel dmg is do ridiculous there's no point playing the spec in arenas anymore. hopefully they'll fix it soon.

What you were supposed to do was refresh UA when the debuff had been fullt refreshed through pandemic. This made it possible to stack UA infinitely. Getting UA's ticking for 1 million each tick was easy to pull of against lower rated players.

and why/how exactly did rot and decay do that?

and why/how exactly did rot and decay do that?

You cast UA, let it's timer go to 12-13 sec by casting drain life. Pumped another ua into it and let the timer go to 12 seconds again. Because of rot and decay the timer on the initially cast ua's never ran out. Therefor you could stack them indefinitly which was retarted. So blizzard nerfed dispel damage to like a really low number, because people where getting oneshot by dispelling like 13 ua stacks (which was retarted). However after they fixed the "bug" by making it 5 stacks max they didn't rebuff the dispel damage, so now dispelling 5 ua stacks now hits you for like 300k damage max. Whereas before it would have hit for 120% of the 5 stacks damage. So affliction sucks balls now because a 8 sec cd on dispel completely nulifies all your damage and setup.
