Is this intended that razorice doesn't work in arena/bg? Rip talents?

Not intended, but anyway DKs absolutely helpless in comparison most of classes,
-No survivality vs MeleeDPS
-No dmg in unholy
-Useless class in PvP atm

its not true ? Unholy suck atm , frost doing good dmg but no survivality vs melee dpsers makes them useless

i'm really not sure how anyone can say DKs are bad lmfao, you clearly haven't played much against or as the class if you think that

I know its just PVE , but we see that DK has not so good damage as in previous expansions , and what we have vs Melee cleave now = Unholy = Corpse Shiled (90% redirected into pet) and pet die in 3 seconds lol, cant summon new one 30secs.
Frost = we have OP Deathstrikes by Icebound (+300% for Deathstrike healing for Icebound duration) that cost 45 Runic Power per strike.
So DK have mediocre Damage and very shit survivality vs Melee Cleaves.
Also u guys can read Syriantes feedback.

pve rankings =/= class viability

dks have insane utility and good survivability when you know how to play them, especially in a good comp. Cervantes is incredibly biased and that feedback is for the most part completely null.

I have done my share of dungeons and on mythic bosses I pull 225k as unholy when my undergeared monk friend pulls 275k around those numbers so your list is bullshit.

Corpse shield is 1min cd 10sec duration 90% shield wall if you are not stunned, just dismiss and resummon pet. On top of that ibf+ you can deathstrike instead of death coil with almost 0 penalty. Chains 70% and then wraith walk for kiting aswell.

Because I just get annoyed trying to preach to someone who uses pve ranking as a benchmark for class viability in arena. DKs have great utility and you completely gloss over how good those 3 abilities are. Death strike always heals a minimum of 300k with full artifact/talents etc, and can crit. Admittedly, frost is more squishy than unholy however with IBF up for frost your death strike still heals 900k+ for those 10 seconds or so. AMS is a amazingly good defensive also. Following the logic of "oh we only have 2 defensives" would make shadow priest and warlocks trash also. Not to mention corpse shield for unholy.

How could any statistics from outside the PvP be relevant to a scenario in which Your gear stats (beside ilvl) are completely ignored + some of Your spells may be altered just for the PvP. I guess it's tough to actually put some effort in figuring out the way to do the efficient damage (even with the amount of pruning classes got, there's still decent amount of choices/ways to optimize "rotation").

Death strike always heals a minimum of 300k with full artifact/talents etc, and can crit.


DS heal cannot crit. Unless they changed it in Legion, because it has never been able to crit heal before.

And the tooltip hasn't been updated in forever so it's impossible to know exactly how the ability works, but it states 10% of max health, or 20% of the damage you've taken in the last 5 seconds, whichever is higher. The 20% one requires you to take more than 50% of your health in actual damage to heal more than the 10% of max health.

It also scales with attack power in some way (we don't know the scaling values apparently).

900k sounds like an impossible value that you got from... where? I'd love to see proof of this number being possible in arenas. Because you'd have to take like three times your health in damage within 5 seconds and survive it, but if you can survive that then why do you need death strike rofl.
