Regardless of anything, Void Origins is the talent to go for in that row. Void Eruption being instant cast is way too good to pass out on.

They're probably wrong. The only purpose that would have is extending Voidform, and the damage we do is retarded even without Voidform.

I'm usually not wrong regarding choosing stuff like this, let's see if this is an exception.

What patch are you playing on where spriests do "REtarded" dmg ROFL.

I probably play better than you if you're disagreeing with that statement.

I prefer Void Origins over Driven to Madness in almost any situation since the nerf. Edge of Insanity is strong without questions but requires a very different playstyle. Out of all talents in this tier Driven to Madness is the worst.

But i hope to see some changes to the pvp talents in 7.1. Shadow has been designed for pve and has major design flaws when it comes to pvp. Talents like Psychic link, Mind Trauma are not needed and feel much weaker than other talents. We are already very strong vs. casters and need some anti melee tool. The  EU tournament proofed that.

10% Physical damage reduction with return of shadowform in 7.1 will help but not fix our problems against melee.

Last word should be replaced by some anti melee tool or gap opener.

Psyfiend should act like a totem and not be affected by AoE abilities.

Some talent that stops insanity drain during stuns, disorients and interrupts.

In addition to that I'm confident that blizzard will redesign the level 100 talent tier. They announced something like that on twitter. The devs can't balance shadow around Surrender to Madness and they finally have realized it.

I recently gave Void Origins a try and I have to say I was really surprised by how good and reliable it felt, even when being trained by double melee.

I played it with Shadowy Insight so I can still generate Insanity fast enough without Driven to Madness.

Not having San'layn means it's less overall damage but you can actually time your Voidform+Psyfiend+Void Bolt really nice for swaps and not be at the mercy of kicks.

My mistake with it was that I was not focusing as much on casting VT on everyone since it makes you feel like you're playing in WoD with nothing but instants.

Also since I knew I can pop Voidform whenever I wanted to burst, I tended to hold it back for a few extra seconds to time it with other stuff like Psyfiend/CC/etc.

Not trying to get into Voidform as soon as I hit 70 Insanity (as I would with Driven+San'layn) also made me lose dps in the long run.

My partners still prefer me to go Driven to Madness + San'layn since my damage in the end is so massive and SP pressure is really strong when it gets going... except vs. mistweavers. :P

Really not sure what to pick. Thoughts?

Edge of Insanity in my opinion is very very good in RBGs. Being able to just stay topped off on insanity, do really good spread pressure with 30% more damage at all times is great. And when you find a kill target, all you have to do is pop the void form, cds, and void torrent into them and watch them drop. I use last word in RBGs very often when we have a lot of MS on our team. Psyfiend when we lack MS for kills, and void shift for 3s.

With all the class buffs especially destro locks, what do you guys think of spriest/destro/shaman? They both do ridiculous damage and if either of them are left alone, their damage is going to destroy. Locks can peel with that new root, etc.

I'm thinking it could be super strong.

EDIT: Also thought Frost DK, Spriest, Resto Sham could work. Fdk does ridiculous damage and with Spriest spread pressure, it could seriously mess people up.
