  • Thunderstruck Thunder Clap roots all targets for 1 snares all targets by 90% for 1.5 sec. Protection Warrior - Tier 5 PvP Talent.
  • Wrecking Crew Colossus Smash's Mortal Strike's effect now also is applied to all nearby enemies within 8 yards of the target. Arms Warrior - Tier 5 PvP Talent.
thunderclap, reflect (dont even ask for mass) and the intercept should be arms talents, why is blizzard making prot so useful compared to any other spec.

starting to get worried about arms , i know its alpha but its on alpha that you actually see the direction that blizzard wants to go with specs, damage its easy to tweak and will get balanced out but this is starting to be ridiculous

Same as in WoD..
Make them rock in the start. Then nerf bat them when people starts crying like deluded fucktards, and force all Warriors to re-grind gear with appropriate stats (Though this may not be an issue with item system in Legion, but who knows)

They are really driving the spec fantasy thing super hard at the moment.

To them, tanks in pvp are going to be heavy support based. So it seems like those specs are going to be getting a LOT of utility. Which I can get behind. And wouldn't mind seeing them be made viable as long as they can die/not be too much tankier than a normal dps.

As far as prot warriors go... They really are looking amazing. Not only are they going to have an insane amount of utility(and all of it seems like a lot of fun), but they are also going to have a LOT more mobility when compared to Arms/Fury. Unless something has changed, Prot has 2 charges of intercept baseline and only has a 15sec CD on it(where Arms/Fury has a 20sec CD on charge..with only 1 charge baseline). And they also have the artifact trait that can lower the CD on Heroic Leap.

Arms/Fury are looking to be pretty sub-par in a lot of things. Not only were the specs gutted in terms of utility(baseline and talents), but it also seems like they are going to be lacking survivability. And mobility taking a hit as well. I mean, the only thing you can really say about them...is that they will do damage? Doesn't really get you hyped for the specs. I mean, they definitely have the ability to make Fury/Arms just do more damage than everyone else.. But is that fun? Is it fun as a spec fantasy? I don't think so. Especially with how the specs currently are...it's just far too simplistic.

I really think that the pvp talents for Arms/Fury need a hard look over. Like t3/4 need to be redone almost entirely. We don't need entire talent tiers dedicated to execute/rage generation. Just pick one of those in each tier and add 2 new talents on each tier. Give it some variety/actual choices.
And, well, the fact that almost all of Arms/Fury talents point towards just doing more damage. Maybe that could be changed. Maybe.

Anyways, with all that being said, pvp testing still has yet to start. And a lot of stuff will change for sure. So we'll just have to wait for now.

Just realized prot has a talent that makes charge an AoE stun, ala blitz style but more potent. It's on the same tier as shockwave, however.

And they have a talent that makes heroic leap stun for 2 secons, AND makes anyone that is in the path of charge be stunned as well.

Baby I cant wait!

Well I main Prot and only PvP with Prot. To answer your question it has been long.. really long awaited that Tanks are the control and utility class again. Each spec and role should be important.

Prot should be there for peels and utility to control the other team and line up burst with the Dps. Taunt now adding 20% more damage in PvP will be huge and then Prot brining buffs and debuffs to the team will make PvP seem like everyone has a role to fill.

I dream of the day where Blizzcon is Tanks/Dps/Heals vs Tank/Dps/Heals for the whole tournament.

They said they are making tanks less tanky and they will fill more of a utility Dps role. (Blizzards exact words)
