depends if target drops combat or not

kidney is 6 sek, combat drops after 6 sek, if you give autohit it wont work. druids dont drop combat cuz of their passive spell sometimes, dont know if its a thing anymore, dont play atm

Afaik you only get in combat when casting a spell on an enemy or on a friendly player who is in combat. A player in combat will not put you in combat. Take this with a grain of salt since I have not played in a while but for what its worth, I'd bet on it. As for the why u cant sap after a kidney sometimes, I dont know the answer to :D

combat used to drop 5.5 secs off. i am pretty sure it's bugged now, since u might get off in 4 seconds or while going for drink (no-pet,no-dot,no-shit) might have to wait for more than 5 secs to drop it off.

it's pretty bugged.

For druids, their treants will keep them in combat. I guess the same is true for pet classes too?

This happens in games where there is no pets up as well. It seems completely random whether or not you can sap out of a kidney.

Can be a pet keeping them in combat, etc. It's not reliable to sap out of kidneys imo, don't even bother if the guy is an Orc lol

Yeah it's 5.5s to drop combat, kidney triggers combat as well. What you can do if you really want that sap on the healer out of a kidney is to blind him once kidney is about to end (because Blind won't trigger combat indicator) and then camp for him to trinket>sap trinket

You just have to be spiritually tuned to the rogue class. Feel the kidney shot, be the sap.

For real though, lots of weird things influence combat status, and lots of things make you randomly drop combat as well (especially as a night elf).

Because the random name generator might pump out Lortfanden, which sounds like a pretty generic fantasy Warrior name in English, until you realize it means "Shit Fuck" in Danish.

I don't think his question was whether or not you can do it, I think his question was "why can you not do it sometimes".
