I've been playing this comp lately and we've run into some problems, so I was wondering if any of you had some good advice for us.
As a melee cleave, we can't afford to play defensively because we lack crowd control, so we can't simply PvE & rotate our crowd controls and expect to win like most castercleaves can.
So far the best two strategies we've found are either zerging the enemy healer, or focusing one of their damage dealer and do a grab > FoF + monk burst combo onto their healer. Depending on the map and enemy comp, sometimes a double focus also seems to work well.
Well we've tried everything and while we've had some success, it feels like it is more up to them to screw up than up to us to do what it takes to win.
Their CC chain on me is nearly impossible to counter (deep > sheep x3 > frostjaw > fear priest > silence + whatever cc their healer has) and even when I come out there's still a Counterspell to fake cast, because if I get caught during a cast it's essentially game over.
Sac'ing CC's seems nearly impossible with offensive purge being so retardedly strong.
Feral based teamcomps
It seems like focusing a feral druid is completely pointless, yet they deal so much damage and are so annoying if left alone.
Killing their healer while leaving a feral druid untouched is extremely complicated due to the sheer amount of peel they possess, and as I've said before feral druids just don't seem to die at all.
This is essentially much like a mirror, except they kill me a lot faster than my teammates can kill their healer. I can keep myself alive for some time against most melee cleaves, but this one is absurd. It does as much damage as feral/dk while having triple the amount of CC.
We've tried going all out on their healer while they zerg me and using our monk as a peeler for me, but it seems neither of these strategies work at all.
Disc priests in general
Anytime there's a disc priest, it seems like he just doesn't die. Regardless of whether we train him or simply swap him with a grab > FoF, they just seem to not die, and worse they often have enough crowd control in their teammates that they can even afford to run at me to try and fear me, which I'll eventually take because I'm not as mobile and have to cast quite a bit more and can't move while I cast unlike them.
