Why do you just assume they removed garrote or cheap shot?

because they did? garrote is assassination only, and combat/outlaw has ambush as its only stealth ability

fortunately tho, combat/outlaw now has a ranged kidney shot finisher :D :D :D

Yes! Instead of Kidney Shot, Outlaws have a pistol-based finisher which deals damage and stuns from range.

No because the difference is when I play a comp i play it close to skill cap

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

in tbc/wotlk 70% snare on crippling was absolutely balanced, considering rogues had 0 healing/passive defenses

It would be balanced today as well with the amount of dragonball Z-like abilities that you can gain distance with. With an exception of warriors and DKs maybe, who would probably find it really unfair.

It would be the bane of DKs, but then DKs have never done that well against Rogues so it wouldn't really change anything there.

stop being retarded and read the whole quote

We’re also deemphasizing Stealth, with Ambush being their only remaining opening move. Stealth will still provide its core Rogue utility, but Outlaws are more comfortable fighting toe-to-toe with a sword than skulking about.

stealths core rogue utility (sneaking around unseen) will still be available to outlaws, but ambush will be the only "from stealth" opening ability available to outlaw rogues - so no cheap shot, and no garrote (unless cheap shot is a rogue talent lolol)

Everyone in the post is speculating this shit they posted this week except for maybe hunter changes was a bunch of shit that was uninteresting and uninformative they didnt give a full list of abilities just a few ideas they had stored on evernote at blizzcon while eatin lunch. I expect to see all of your dads later to talk about this foolishness.

I hope rogues get burst of sped removed, there's basically no counterplay for them besides a physical cc, it's annoying as fuck that they can sit anyone 24/7 as well as not fair since the other melee classes are affected by roots and slows, so rogue deserves to be controlled by same effects.

By the way, no one mentioned it yet but wtf at the sick synergy between Shadowdance and Relentless Strikes, that is going to be way too strong I fear.


Maybe, maybe not. The way RS is written is "40 energy when you enter stealth", so it could very well not proc in pvp (which would be beyond shit).

Hopefully they add some mechanic to Ambush.

I would find it awesome if there would be a Ambush-modifier kinda like Twisted Fate from League, where you can add a silence or a stun to ambush.Maybe like Ambush on Hands(no cast) or Feet(root) or spine(stun).That would be class fantasy.
Guess it will never happen.

Maybe Waylay is there aswell.So when we apply the new dot, enemy is perma slowed anyway.

At this point they are doomed if they do, doomed if they don't. Relentless strikes working on shadowdance would be OP as fck, relentless strikes not working means Rogues lose an iconic talent that they've had since Vanilla and puts into question their viability. Not getting energy after a finisher could break the class.

Oh well, maybe Blizzard pulls through and balances it all perfectly (lol).

This was before burst of speed had a 4 seconds CD. Besides that: ferals are basically immune to slows and roots;rets can dispel their own slows and roots; enhancement shamans have 30 sec sprint and have ALL crowd control effects reduced on them during this time(not to mention that most of their damage can be executed from a far), on top of that they got 2 freedom totems; ww monks,warriors form a group of classes that you would call "other melee" classes, others do not fit into this category.
