I see a lot of ferals using the on use instead of the proc, I was under the impression that the proc was better overall dps?

Or is it because the passive agility is better than the passive vers?

Also if you use the on use do you use it on cooldown in between incarnations or just use it with the natures vigil on the minute and a half?

Cheers

Comp dependent IMO, I'm sure pressure comps like FLS would use proc. Comps that get kills in CC windows (Jungle, FMP) would take On Use

I don't get why some US feral druids seem to prefer the on use trinket, it doesn't line up with anything. It makes perfect sense for sub rogue or frost mage for example who have dance and orb on 1 min cd. Perhaps you could argue that it lines up with every second tiger's fury.

Not at all, proc is actually much better if you're able to recognize when it's up and make something of it, pretty sure beanslayerx uses proc aswell.

I'de just incarn on first proc and start rake ripping everyone with your locks DS, but I don't really know much about high rating FLS so don't quote me on that

The ones that do do it mostly so that they can say open with rake kill target then bash healer and let their team mates set up and go ham with that and hopefully force some minor cds. Then next stun dr they'll pop incarn and go ham on whoever they want, but yeah it really comes down to a playstyle preference. Proc is definitely way better for more damage, and you cam play around and control it pretty easily, but yeah :P

the only hunter i approve of is dillypoo. the remainder of hunters' existence offends me to my core. when i wake up, i am troubled that in some parts of the world, there are other humans who still partake in slavery, sex trafficking, and hunter playing on world of warcraft

did you ever get round to taking it? It's actually the best free site i've found :)

Gonna take that as you flopped hard and couldn't get near my score with repeated tries :)

Well, you usually get your trinket proc pretty much instantly in the opener anyway.
Perhaps on use still gives higher burst compared to proc, haven't done the math.

Yeah I'm aware you get the proc trinket in the opener, I was saying the ones who take it aren't going for the damage in the opener, they're using it for the second stun dr.

So my thoughts were possibly the extra versatility from the on use scales better with natures vigil? I've played around with both though and I don't notice a big difference either way, so I dunno..
