Hi to everyone! I'm playing 2v2 with frost mage. The dilemma is when to use my burst. Is it better to burst at the very begining as i chip shot my target or i should go chipshot-ambush-revealing strike-kidney and burst before Mfd and Dfa? Or should i wait for the red light of Bandit?

Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light.

The best combat opener imo is sr-mfd-kidney-revealing-sinister spam - chuck in vanish/cheap for extra pressure between kidneys if needed. Save killing spree for first red buff.

But double dps twos is better suited to sub as it's easier to get a reset and you have more pressure opening out of stealth, combat is better suited to playing with a healer.

Don't wear that dress tonight.

I would use either in opener, or leading into your red buff I.e late green to get to red faster if you see an opportunity come up. Later in the game you'll just want to cycle your cooldowns with each red buff.

My biggest damage opener (generally used to jib shamans, poor shamans) looks like this:
Sr-mfd-kidney-ar-on use-revealing-sinister-sinister-slice n dice- vanish- garrote- eviscerate- spam damage, your first garrote should overlap the end of your first kidney so your shadow reflection can get it up earlier (you only need to cover a 2 second window between kidneys).

Works really well for me at lower ratings but I'm guessing at higher ratings good teams can deal with your reflection so I'm not sure what to do about that..

Edit:was calling garrote rupture because spud

Combat doesn't have rupture, you should always use your SR for cc it doesn't do any damage that is noticeable. X2 Blind or Kidney is best.

Use trinket on KS or at least when you have yellow so you getting trinket use going into Red. IMO the proc trinket with Agi is better if your are not Human. If your human you have both and should ideally try to line up the proc and on use with KS

Using it this way is mainly for cc, 6 second kidney into 3or 4 second garrote (covering 2 second gap), 3 second kidney from reflection then 1.5 or 2 second garrote (if glyphed).

If timed right that's about 13 seconds of lockout.
