Wussup, there.
Planed to buy a keyboard lately. But never used mechanical keyboards.
Is Coolermaster quickfire XT good to obtain?
Or is there something else with 104 buttons good in the same price?

Thanks for the thread. Have read about that, learned things about switches. But saw some of them made a state that razor's keyboards suck.
So here I post this looking for answers if coolermaster can be trusted. One of my friends told me ducky has something in the same price, but much better than CM. Though he doesn't play wow at all.

I might be late on this but

CM Quickfire is generally considered the "poor mans filco". I.e. if you don't want to waste a ton of money on the brand, you can just buy a CM QF - they're basically produced by the same factories, other than the keycaps or the stabilizers or something (I don't remember - google it, there's tons of info on this on a site called geekhack.org, generally you should check what people there think about ANY keyboard). Filco is generally considered the "golden standard" of mechanical keyboards, by the way - it's a good standard to be compared to.

The quickfire is basically the "go-to" suggestion to people new to mechanical keyboards. They're easily the best choice in price/performance, so yes, go for it. If I was to buy a mechanical keyboard right now it would most likely be a CM QF.

P.S.
Btw, regarding switch types, for WoW specifically I'd recommend either MX Browns (tactile feedback when you press them), or MX Reds (completely linear, if that's what you prefer). I guess you've read the linked thread anyways tho

Ducky is a very very good brand too btw. If your friend is correct (I don't research this market all the time, the last time I checked was years ago), you should at least check it out. I.e. google some reviews, check geekhack, etc for that model specifically

Also if you reside in China you may have access to Leopold keyboards. They're also worth checking. They were the best price/performance choice before the Quickfires, but they stopped exporting to EU/US a while ago. Might be still available in Asia however

No you're not late :P
As our shaman been away for some job things, I haven't bought any.
I searched for leopold, there is only quite a few models on sale, and can't find the type I like.
So it's gotta be quickfire. lol
Thanks for replying.
