- any stun that has higher range than melee range, and isn't magical ( Aspyhxiate, Storm Bolt, etc )

ring of frost would be the obvious one, but then again, that spell was developed based on extensive player feedback as compensation for the heavy nerfing of cast times on cc going from wotlk to cata - people were asking to move away from casted cc and towards preventable instant cc with a cooldown ;)

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

I just want every class that is trainable to be given something to reduce the trainage such as boomkins. Boomkins do way more damage when you train them.. spriests/rshams etc needs this.

Blood Fear(?) was pretty stupid; in a sense that Blizzard designed it as a defensive ability without thinking how it could be used.

Warlock Fear ? Fine, casted 1.7 sec.

Warlock Howl ? Fine, needs to be in melee range.

Polymorph ? Fine, casted 1.7 sec.

Kidney Shot ? Fine, requires CPs and melee range.

Cyclone ? Fine, casted 1.7 sec.

Warrior fear and Priest fear ? Fine, close range.

Hex ? Fine, casted and dispellable by DPS classes.

All of the above also predictable as fuck.

compared to physical, ungroundable, unavoidable effects that stun from 30 yards ( stormbolt, asphyx ); compared to Gouge, that shouldn't exist in the game right now ; compared to trap which is unavoidable if the hunter team is good, etc.

DK DnD horror from s5, explosive shot TnT stun s5, spriest blackout stun tbc?, rogue and warrior mace stun tbc, also FoK interrupt from wotlk not exactly a cc but it felt like one to casters ^^

Patch 6.2 :

Repentance : 1,7s cast, No CD, remove all dots on the target, 30y, magic school : Arcane (Because why not?), the spell doesn't incapacitate anymore and transform the target into a crucifix. (It's a polymorph effect now.)

Fine, casted 1.7 sec.

Intimidating shout needs a cast time


On an ability with an 8 yard range and a long CD? So, essentially, you want it taken from the game. I'll tell you what, you can have that when Blizzard puts a 1.5 sec cast time on Mind Freeze. Out of all of the mindless instant CCs we have seen from Blizzard over the years, I am amazed that this is the best you can come up with.
