Hey

i have the below macro that doesn't seem to be working.

What i want it to do is on press, my pet will attack using kill command on my main target. If i use "alt" and press, my pet will then switch to my focus target and use kill command.

#showtooltip Kill Command
/cast [nomod,@target]Kill Command
/petattack [nomod,@focus]
/cast [mod:alt,@focus]Kill Command
/petattack [mod:alt,@focus]
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

Can anyone see what is wrong with it and lend me some advice please?

Actually nevermind. I just spotted the issue.

I've now changed it to the following which is also shorter for those who are interested and it works.

#showtooltip Kill Command
/cast [nomod][mod:alt,@focus]Kill Command
/petattack [nomod][mod:alt,@focus]
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

Your pet need to be in range of the target to use kill command. On any of your key hits, your pet is set to attack your focus, wich kinda fucks up kill command for you. That's what i see anyway :P

you shouldn't need either of the [nomod] unless you have this bound to the same key that you use for a shift or ctrl bind already

No because the difference is when I play a comp i play it close to skill cap

if anyone needs to be banned, it's you. You do nothing but sit on AJ being a passive aggressive idiot that nobody likes, sorry you stink of washing up liquid.

Feel free to call me an idiot because I'm a hunter or some stupid ass remark but I've actually written all this down on paper

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

If you want pet to switch and stay on focustarget (using [ALT]) or else assist you: then

#showtooltip
/petfollow
/petpassive [mod:alt,@focus,harm]
/petassist [nomod:alt]
/petattack [mod:alt,@focus,harm][@target]
/cast Kill Command

If you got other macros to control pet behavore, or just want the 1 KC in assist mode, then:

#showtooltip
/petattack [mod:alt,@focus,harm][@target]
/cast Kill Command

-you cant use target conditions in kill command (like: /cast [@focus,harm]Kill Command or @target) Kill command will always be used on pettarget, nomatter what you specify, so change pettarget first, then use kill command.. /petfollow /petpassive are a good idea, if in any case, you previously set pet on "go-to" or assist.
