Along with fixing deterrence so that it restores 40% of maximum health when activated.

remove warlock double cs/dispel and make trap on a ~30 second cd (and maybe bring back disarm time) and the game would be in a much better place, even though hunters would still be insanely good considering they've had every weakness removed from the class over time

warlocks would still be borderline op too but i don't know what you could really nerf at this point considering their damage in pve is trash and fear is already bad

The damage threshold on fears felt too high before, but now it feels too low. I don't think it's really something that can ever be perfect.

The thing with traps is that even if you LoS them, you can still get trapped around corners and if you miss one, it still denies an area for your opponent, which in some cases is pretty problematic.It's the only CC that goes around corners and can be triggered/has an effect when it didn't hit. It's easily the most idiotproof mechanic this game has ever known & there is nothing even remotely comparable to it.


And then after the trap there is the binding shot & the knocback to narnia as well ofc.


+ concussive shot ++ wyvern sting ++ ice trap root ++ (the list never ends)

Hunter class has ruined pvp since malevolent

It might not be perfect but it can be a lot better than this. Cata fear breaking felt pretty close to correct in that state of the game. You couldn't take any serious damage in a fear (like less than 10% of your health) so it was nowhere near the stunlock-type fear chains that people could actually die in, but it was high enough that you could actually use fear to disrupt the enemy team's plans and kill windows. The way fear is right now runs completely counter to the idea of affliction (which is the quintessential warlock spec). Your job is to rot the enemy team, and the better you're doing that job, the more useless fear becomes. A design divided against itself like that is just plain bad.

And the fact that Warlocks are now just damage bots is even more retarded. I've never felt so helpless with melees training me and with me having only one spell school to cast from, playing a Warlock is just fucking frustrating, doesn't matter how good they are.

hunters is rly strong right now. (13 hunters in the top200 EU)

i mean NOW things are bothering you which are around for many seasons...

explotrap, bindingshot, concshot (LOL WTH), MS effect

hunters NEEDS to be adressed SOMEHOW but they also have to take a closer look at rdruids and warlocks (once trap is gone you'll see how rearded locks are if you haven't realised it yet)

everything has been around for ages.
casting while moving is around since cata (never rly bothered anyone), mobility allways been around (since we are fucked once we get stunned), deterence is kinaa weak compared to other defensive(stuns,dots etc.), sac has been aroudn for ages... and even when we were able to rotate sacs no one rly cried about it, passive healing isn#t even worth to mention (every class got one)

the only ting that is retarded about hunters is 12 sec cooldown on trap + slow amo


i don't get it why people are allways trying to cry about hunters if they are considered strong...
mages are stong,, ye fine... same goes for rogues, locks, shadows, even PROCC-CITY didn't get that much attention

since all of you want those things to be gone.

mobility (no casts on the move [not even steady/cobra], no freedom, disengage(+post haste)
cc (30 sec cooldown with at leats 1.5sec arm time right?)
MS nerf for sv+mm
no explotrap
reduce slows/roots (no concshot, no slowamo, no roots)
getting kicked on all of their casts (steady/cobra as ell)
let's also nerf purge i mean... why not zoidberg

hm let's see.... mm hunter = mage but worse
sv hunter = lock but worse
bm hunter = ....

stop crying about all those things... they are a part of the fkcn class since late cata.... there's no way they are gonna rework it again.... TRAP WILL BE NERFED somehow and MAYBE SLOW-AMO THAT'S IT.... GET OVER IT LADIES

and if you get knocked in a corner and conshotted on top...consider it as well played... as you'd say it to every ele

the idea that they aren't going to completely rework a class just because it's been the same way for a moderate amount of time is nonsense, warriors are completely reworked every single expansion

anyway, they're only absurd when you have all of them together. explosive trap knockback has no reason to exist in this game at all

mobility while "casting" should only exist if deadzone still exists

having slows and interrupt are fine, i'm not a fan of dps classes other than mages having a root but it's not a deal breaker for me

Removal of deadzone was the single biggest buff any class has gotten in the history of the game
