yes he is^^

thoughts on buffing the passive bonus armor in moonkin form? You're really tanky in bear form and it only provides 50% more armor than moonkin form. maybe such a buff would help moonkins against meele zergs and combat rogues*. wouldnt affect pve either.

That's the Grand Master Boomkin Isokukko, you'll have to contact his manager Kopidahuu-Stormreaver to get in touch with the master himself - or just follow his stream at http://www.twitch.tv/isokukko

You basically play it how WLS is played, just keep dots and bleeds on all targets and hit the other team's healer a lot. Against some comps riding the healer might be too risky so you'll just have to cc and focus on surviving i guess.

if you want to know what certain people play

go to: http://pvpratings.com/
insert the name, e.g. Taikamylly --> http://pvpratings.co...aver/Taikamylly
press on a game ---> http://pvpratings.co...-01-25 13:59:00
press strg + f and insert the persons name again
2015-01-25 19:59 Posted Image ßrucewayne - Stormreaver 2699 4 284 6 2015-01-25 19:59 Posted Image Taikamylly - Stormreaver 2697 4 290 3 2015-01-25 19:59 Posted Image Trukk - Stormreaver 2691 4 295 7

so he probably plays with those people. sometimes you have to check more games to know someone's mates.

(maybe someone didn't know yet :D)

Give back might of ursoc. Current meta contains damage that bypasses armor and so it feels like barkskin is not even close to enough :P

problem is they wont give you anything back :D

if you were as tanky as a flameglow mage you could actually do something and your healer wouldnt have to use so many cooldwons for you.
maybe some kind of dispel protection would help too. like a short root on the dispeller. in combination with ua silence you/your lock would be able to reapply dots.

they also should change that stupid starfall design. that's the reason why moonkins do so well in pve. they spam the brainless button that deals awesome damage (cause not nerfed by 33%, 1500 avg. ticks in pvp)), hail casuals.
They should buff dots or wrath/starfire instead. but it's w/e just reroll resto if you don't want boring 10 minute games that you actually lose quite often in dampening :D

Maybe we'll see some changes after the release of the new raid tier. lots of bosses depend on damage on the move and moonkin is quite bad there.

Yeah but the thing is like, its good that as boomkin you have the ability to kite, i think blizzard counts displacer beast as a defencive because it creates huge gap, but the problem is that like, the only reason displacer is considered OP is because resto druids can displacer, and top themselves off with instants.

Applying a rejuvenation now makes it feel like i wasted a global, it does so little healing its almost a joke. Combine that with the new healing touch nerf (previously vs tsg type teams you could sometimes get yourself up to a decent amount of health by LOSing and using healing touch, the nerf coming in now will make it so the chaos bolt healing touch will heal for a laughable amount. I don't like to compare classes generally but it feels weird, locks got to keep their heals with a slight nerf (healthstone) rest is pretty much untouched. Boomkins lose might of ursoc, heart of the wild is nerfed to beyond awful and none of the upcoming changes seem to change the fact that if you do not have barkskin for a tsg asphyxiate you will go from 100% to 11%, and unlike other classes you will have almost absolutely no way of getting back again.

Idk maybe im just shit :^^))))

The displacer nerf won't affect restodruids anyway that much imo. They don't have any arcane school so lockouts are only crucial for moonkins, because our auren mastery is gone, we have to cast more due to the new 4p.

The stellar flare buff is kind of useless because everyone can just dispel your dots without any cons.
Treant buff is probably useless too, your root beam will break even faster :D (you should try to hit them during a cast anyway)

Moonkin doesn't have the pontential to create pressure against meele zergs. Noone has to play defensive. You won't be able to kill a healer as fast as a meele cleave. Your support is quite good but makes warlocks useless, fear breaks instanly anway.
Only windwalker is worse than moonkin imo.

Take a look at all the moonkins that used to be top 50 players. noone is close to r1. you need enormous team luck.

It's hard to figure out whats bad about moonkins at the moment, the only thing that seems 'meh' is their survivability vs big offensive cds, but all the rest looks okay. They just seem not to fit in the current meta. Even if moonkins were to get a survival buff, I don't see that changing anything.
Clone dr-ing fear lowered the syngery between locks/rogues and priests. Moonkin/rogue and moonkin/rogue were niche comps for moonkins in 3s. Moonkin/mage would still be decent, but with deep changes, mages needs a partner to lockdown the kill target, something moonkins are pretty bad at.

Maybe they could look at root beam, it's pretty bad right now, with every healer being either a rdruid or a dwarf/gnome.

Somehow nerfing resto without nerfing moonkin will help us. I feel like resto druids counter moonkin, if that makes any sense. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel we're in a decent spot... Just resto druids are too strong.

I think a major issue is that they completely ruined starfall in pvp. You have to be really careful using it when playing with any class that has cc which breaks on damage. On top of that it does really garbage damage when hitting only a few targets so you might as well never use it. It was great in mop and even cata because it actually worked in a smart way and you could use it freely in any type of comp. In 6.1 it will only hit dotted targets by default, which is a step in the right direction imo. Hopefully they revert the damage nerf at least a little bit.

Also, sunfire auto-applying to targets within 5 yards is a bad design in pvp, even if it's somewhat convenient for comps like lsd2. It's just really annoying when I'm playing with a rogue or a mage, going to sunfire a totem and watching a sunfire break poly or blind.......

i was looking at your armory and can see you have haste enchant. some reason for that? or is it just armory update delay??

I stack haste because I really like the shorter casts and gcds. I'm sure maxing out mastery or versatility will give you more overall damage but having lots of haste just provides a much smoother playstyle imo.

gonna stick to haste in 6.1. new 4p favors haste imo and it's smoother gameplay overall.

Faster clones/roots are also nice to have without the old auren mastery 4p. Faster starfires are nice due to the new 4p.

You'll also get the same amout of starsurge proccs as prioritizing crit (someone figured it out some pages before).

In the end I guess it doesn't really matter what you're prioritizing. chose what fits your playstyle the most.
Especially for RBG mastery>haste=versa?>crit>multi might be better. On the other hand you got to hardcast alot more recently, because starfall is garbage now.

warlock shaman moonkin
warlock monk moonkin
mage paladin moonkin
rogue disc moonkin
warrior shaman moonkin

warlock disc moonkin should also be viable for gladiator but it's kind of stressful (haven't played it in 6.1 tho).
mage disc moonkin --- " " --
warrior monk moonkin -- " " --

r1 won't be easy with either of these comps and I guess you need proper queues to achieve it

http://www.twitch.tv/srsowlpro / http://www.twitch.tv/gizmoirl currently queuing 2.8 lsd2
