Anyone else realize how shitty the ww set bonuses are compared to other classes? even by themselves the set bonuses are complete garbage

2 set: Jab Energy cost reduced by 30 for 3 seconds after rolling

with how hard it is to stay on a target as ww now this set bonus prety much does nothing, most of the time after rolling you are still trying to run at your target when it is a hunter/mage/druid/paladin

4 set: increases tigereye brew duration by 3 seconds

the 4 set was actually pretty decent when it was 7 seconds but 3 seconds feels like nothing compared to what it used to be

warriors and dks have very similar 2 piece bonuses but unlike ww their bonuses last until they use the ability instead of a 3 second duration buff.

other classes get bonus stats on abilities from their 2 set, like shadow priests and demo locks get versatility when they use defensive abilities (1300 versatility is alot)

hunters gain resources when they cc for their 2 piece, bm hunters share dr with their pets and survival hunters get a flat damage buff for their 4 piece

arcane mages get to cast while moving when their cooldowns are up

feral 2 piece resets the cooldown of one of their damage cooldowns when they land a kick (land kick on a 15 second cooldown resets a 30 second cooldown ability????) Balance 4 piece gives them aura mastery when they use thier instant cast ability on top of getting instant cast procs when they take melee damage (they dont even need the aura mastery because they dont cast at all)

sub 4 piece gives them 900 versatility attached to their spammable shield wall ability

ret 2 piece makes them take 50% duration of cc effects when they have cooldowns up and they get a flat damage buff for their 4 piece

ele shamans get aura mastery during ascendence as their 2 piece, enhance takes 50% reduced cc durations when feral spirits are active (30 seconds)

the ww set bonuses need to be changed, imo make the 4 piece increase touch of karma shield to 75% of max health and make the 2 piece so roll makes the next jab have no energy cost, because compared to all of these set bonuses ww's are complete dogshit, especially seeing as the 2 set bonuses that we had in mop are now glyphs and we cant even take both of them because of 2 mandatory glyphs we have had to use since 5.0

the cc duration reduction set bonuses are retarded and make already strong specs even more dumb

but yea the monk set bonuses are about as shit as the frost mage ones

No because the difference is when I play a comp i play it close to skill cap

Feel free to call me an idiot because I'm a hunter or some stupid ass remark but I've actually written all this down on paper

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

not to mention the fact that our most important glyph, the 5 yards flying fist glyph, is bugged and not currently in game.................................................

ww feels pretty strong honestly, i dont really seem to lose 2v2 scrims, buut... there are so many little things that seem really fixable that could make us so much better

we pretty much fucking need that glyph, you basically need to hamstring twice to even be able to fists

yeah that does suck that it's bugged but I feel like it is pretty easy to land fists with disable root and FSK slow, unless you are trying to hit a ret druid or rogue

ww does seem pretty good, the damage seems way higher than it was on beta, I played a bunch of 3s skirms today and was top damage almost every game without chi explosion, those little quality of life fixes might put monks in league with other strong classes

would still like to see some kind of pvp only buff for karma though

tbh i think our damage is so great with serenity. sure youre peelable but like, leg sweep serenity and spam blackout and two rising sun kicks, at some point get free 10 stack brew, and then fists afterwards.

but god do i want that glyph :(

Serenity is honestly too easy peelable. Chi explosion is just a dumb aoe cc breaker on other targets, would like a minor glyph removing the 4 chi explosion.. No words for hurricane strike

As for set bonusses, I think we actually got the word bonus in the game atm lel

wouldnt really matter, the buff would expire before the spellsteal global is done anyways

yeah, it is 100x better than chi explo, but doesn't feel like an end-game talent due to it being a major "peel me" button. MW talents are also shitty as fuck for PvP.

I don't understand this, every class has cds which are "peel me buttons" the whole point of arena is to set them up to get kills.

just saying I didn't feel that way with the old end talents. Ex. xuen and rjw. I prob just need to l2p with Serenity.

Chi Explosion + Ascension seems to be the best imo, you just really have to be careful of how much chi you spend on chi explosions, if you have 5 chi rising sun kick then use it or 4 chi tiger palm then use it, the extra chi on it rly doesnt add too much to the damage and the aoe is worthless unless you are playing aids cleave.

Serenity is too easily peeled imo and really isnt that much burst, blackout kick does no damage compared to fists and serenity + fists is a complete waste because you pretty much get a full energy bar when you do a full channel of fists

Yeah man! You didn't heard? Everyone was complaining about Windwalker dmg so they nerfed us! They never heard anyone complaning about Feral or DK dmg. I am not even sure what game the devs play or what forums they read.
