wowhead.com/news=245900/patch-6-1-ptr-patch-notes

Ascension now increases Spirit by 10% instead of increasing maximum mana by 20%.
Breath of the Serpent (Mistweaver) healing increased by 50%.
Chi Burst damage has been increased by 51%. Also fixed a bug that caused its damage and healing to vary based on specialization.
Chi Explosion (Mistweaver) healing while in Serpent Stance is increased by 40%, and is now usable while channeling Soothing Mist.
Chi Torpedo damage has increased by 150% and healing has increased by 42%.
Hurricane Strike (Windwalker) damage increased by 25%.
Ring of Peace now incapacitates all enemies for 5 seconds (up from 3 seconds).
Zen Sphere has been improved. Its detonation damage has increased by 97%, detonation healing has increased by 70%, but periodic healing has been reduced by 39%. Also fixed a bug that caused its damage and healing to vary based on specialization.

10/10 would bang Blizzard. The Chi Torpedo (relevant to PvP) + Zen Burst buffs are great.

Chi Explosion maybe worth taking now? A four point CE should do ~60k heal straight up plus ~30k hot and another ~45k if you detonate the orbs, assuming no crits or multistrikes.
The downsides are fairly obvious but seems like it could be nice in some situations.

Nothing said about Mana Tea changes. I guess it will kill MW in pvp since we cant gain enough spirit to compensate this nerf (not even close. The actual number is 2133. I have 732). Even trying to reach this point will drop our HPS down, because we need all spirit items we can get. And i wouldn't say, that MW's regen is so good atm btw, so this change... needs to be canceled. Its all about damned PVE. Life cocoon had been buffed, because of monks were too weak at CMs (i guess they still are). Mana Tea is getting nerfed because PVE guys are abusing crane stance and stacking many teas under bloodlust at the start of the boss fight (as i can judge after reading a ton of wine on mmo-champion). Well... nothing good awaits.

Yeah, the breakpoint for "as good as the current 4% Mana tea" was 1600 unbuffed spirit, which was a tough call for PvP MW's. The new change is 2133 to be on par with today's Mana Tea.

Hoping they revisit this prior to 6.1.

I just tweeted @WarcraftDevs, @holinka, and @Celestalon about the Mana Tea problem. Others should do the same.

Don't even need to do that. Unless you spam RJW mana is pretty much not a thing in PvE as is.

Versatility>Crit/haste>Multi
Or
Multistrike>Haste>crit>Ves

What do you mean?
First for Arenas and second for RBGs?
This does barely make sense since one is the opposite of the other...

I personally would guess it's something like:
Vers > MS >= Crit > Haste > Mastery

Where would you put Spirit? Is it needed atm in Arenas for MWs?

This is what I'm going with right now. Spirit can move around depending on what you find yourself needing. (And we'll need more Spirit next patch.) You can switch out the Spirit and Crit medallions.

Versatility > Haste > Spirit = Crit > Multistrike > Mastery

indeed.
i also dont see how people may consider multi/crit better than haste. maybe for pve sure, but crit/multi is nerfed by half in pvp.
haste still reduces GCD, increases EM and RM healing, and throughput/sec and still has better stat conversion than both crit and multi even in pve (which is why haste is so much better than crit for affliction and spriest), although it doesn't improve mana per cast like crit/multi.
crit and multi have exactly the same mathematical weight baseline, except for 3 mw denominators: crit increases mana tea charges, multi has a chance for RM resetting cooldown and also a 5% flat boost to it.

in my view haste is the best healing stat (for pvp only because of the 50% nerf to crit/multi), with versa coming on top if you're getting trained all the time.

Let me know if anything needs to be added/changed.

Nice insight! There were a few things that I didn't knew. I have one question, when would you use the "Song of Chi ji"? I use the other two, depending on the circumstances but never found a scenario in which I go "Oh, Song would be really good here."

Because no one takes the Aura Mastery talent and in high rated games you will almost never have time to Rising Sun Kick.

Song of ChiJi seems to be bugged right now. Sometimes you will directly land it ontop of someone and it won't work. I pretty much never use anything besides leg sweep or occasionally ring of peace vs melee cleaves on maps with ledges.

You don't think Relentless is worth taking at all for non orcs? Feels pretty good against warlocks, mages and moonkins. Especially when 2 of those classes are together(not too often, but I've been seeing a decent amount of demo + moonkins). Thanks for the update!

If you are playing a tanky comp then relentless is usually the best. I does open you up to being killed in stuns/silences very early into the game, so you kinda have to adjust based on what comp you are facing and what their strat is.

Oh, yeah, I've seen this but I thought I was just using the skill in a wrong way or something. I use Ring of Peace quite a lot when I play 3's since I'm currently playing with a Fire mage and a Sub rogue. I kind of like it, but Leg sweep seems to be the superior choice in a lot of scenarios.
