Bad idea as you'll take more damage in dstance then you would in glad stance due to the 50% damage debuff.

This ^^ Don't play tank in pvp basically. I wonder how long it will take for other class players to realize that the prot warrior gladiator stance is a legit dps spec and not some lame ass prot spec in WoD.

Really that debuff also affects you in arena? And going Glad stance removes the debuff completely? Irub do you have a link where it confirms that? Sorry not doubtingyou but I just can't find that in the pvp changes.

Yeah I don't get that either. Gladiator isn't the same as, say, a blood DK. With that talent, you literally become a DPS, just using a sword and shield. It's not the same as Prot being viable in Wrath.

That being said, the other tanks specs need to GTFO of arena.

Has anyone played with new secondary stats? Multistrike seems to be good for a lot of other classes, but I hate RNG. I like versatility though, flat % dmg increase.

Wouldn't the dispell glyph be bad against resto druids comps? Since it can remove Lifebloom which means more healing for the target?

No, only bad druids take the glyph that causes that and even if they do have it, it's still better to dispel it.

Updated OP with the stat weight information

Still subject to change, but that's the only decent info I could find after extensive searching.

why multi strike > mastery?
multi strike triggers +1% hp/sec for 3 sec and provides chance to do 30% additional damage, while mastery provides critical block % and +% of AP.

overall i think mastery is slightly better than multi strike for offensive purpose, no?

Mastery scales well but multistrike gives a bigger oppertunity for increased damage. It's essentially like crit.

I originally went mastery over multistrike as well, but I'm starting to see the benefits of it more and more.

The stat weights on the two are very close at .43 and .41 so it's honestly if you're up to having more RNG or not.

Complete stat weights:

STR = 1.0
Bonus Armor = .99
330 Haste = .90
Crit = .61
Multistrike =.43
Mastery = .41
Versatility = .38
Haste = .30
