Can we not fucking encourage prot warriors in arena
[/quote]

Not sure if you know, but there's a talent in WoD that makes prot become DPS. It's not the same type of prot as it was in Wrath. Glad spec warriors are perfectly fine for being in arena, especially because arms is even more mindless than it was in MoP

idk if i agree with that

but arms is just so boring to play now, atleast with prot you can global people while mindlessly pushing buttons

I personally find it even dumber, but it is debatable.

However "mindless" probably wasn't exactly the right term. I more meant just mindnumbingly boring. At least MoP arms had buttons to hit. WoD arms is like MS, two moves you use ~20 seconds each, and an AoE filler (or slam idk if thats good or not though.).

I don't get why people think you can faceroll your way through prot. It may not be super complicated, but there's enough depth to it where you can easily tell who knows what they're doing and who doesn't. At least in prepatch, I've run into many prot warriors whose damage I double or triple because they have no idea what they're doing.

As long as they can die i am perfectly fine with prot being a strong arena spec.

Its Glad stance which is a legit dps spec, not a tank spec that they simply boosted damage while maintaining all the defense protection comes with

Gforce what about taking SD over HR? I hate feeling like Im forced have to pop a SB to make my SS worthwhile lol.

Tried it out with SD too and the dmg seems unreal. Would like to hear your 2 cents.

Well nevermind, I guess your intention is to use it more with Shield Charge once we get Glad stance. I was basing my opinion on lvl90 pvp which is a moot point.

Right Gforce?

Nothing changes at level 100, but SD is deffinitely the best at 90 right now. This guide is mainly aimed at level 100 gameplay, I didn't really make it with pre-patch in mind.

As for SD, I've been using it for a couple weeks now due to our current level of haste makes spaming heroic strike possible nearly on CD. The 60 rage cost for shield block is just too much. At 100 we have much less haste, which means less heroic strike spam. Luckily Shield Charge rage cost is very low so we can roll it on demand instead.

The only thing I'm going to miss at level 100 is the ability to roll thunderclap on CD :(

Quick question regarding prot talents/spec:

Is prot fast leveling spec for soloing via quests in WoD?
Or is Arms/Fury faster?

Gforce what changes at 100 that won't enable us to use TC on CD?

I think he just meant mabye the TC costing 10 rage in glad stance whereas TC doesn't cost rage in def stance. That is how it is atm.

I've been using heroic leap + TC w/ Wind and Thunder glyph to reveal stealth enemy in skirmish and it works like a wonder. I won't be able to do that in glad stance since TC would have rage cost.

Bad idea as you'll take more damage in dstance then you would in glad stance due to the 50% damage debuff.
