PLAYED VIA BATTLE NET
ORGANIZED QUEUING OVER
"The online bracket will be played until eight teams remain, and those eight teams will advance to a LAN final."
So is the whole online tournament one GIANT bracket that lasts until top eight. How do they expect teams to organize queues into each other?
5.Contact your opponent
The first place to try contacting your opponent is in-game through Battle.net. Go to the match page and you will find their Battle.net nickname and character code underneath their ESL nickname.
If you can't find them on Battle.net, then try:
- Writing a comment on the match page
- Chatting with the match chat (matches at the bottom right and click your match)
- Cup Chat
6. Play your match
Once you are in contact with your opponent then you can play your match.
7.Enter results, upload screen...
Go to "matches" then match setup to enter the result, then the other player can confirm the result.
Either player should upload the screenshots of the match by going to the match page and then "Upload matchmedia"
So teams literally have to take SCREENSHOTS of themselves winning so that the organizer can update the bracket and detirmine future games? What is this?
More importantly, how does ESL or Blizzard expect to manage organizing queues if it's on some dodgy honor system. The TR ladder was a good, albeit not perfect, method to organize top 8 teams. This apparent GIANT ladder system could potentially be an organizational disaster.
