The problem is that the way they've designed Scourge Strike with Cata completely rules it out from being useful in PvP. You need to spam it in PvE and, because of that, they can't make it hit for a lot, because it would be OP in PvE.

And 19% more damage on Festering Strike and Death Strike, along with 13% more damage on Scourge Strike, will hardly make a difference.

Necrotic Plague has been nerfed to the point where it's actually -worse- than using regular diseases, which leaves Defile as the only talent to pick (because Breath is a useless talent in PvP).

The only good thing about this is execute on 45%, but it'll just mean we start spamming Soul Reaper, rather than spamming Necrotic Strike or w/e.

Boring.

Hm, not sure how it could be worse then using actual diseases. I haven't seen the damage numbers in comparison for someone not spec for it make any videos or anything. I don't have beta myself. I could see the "reaper-weaving" between scourges and reapers when someone was 50% being a bit fun compared to current, convert to death spam necro style.. then again, I preferred wotlk dk to any other xpac ie: before necro was ever added.

It does less damage over its entire duration than normal diseases. By using it, you're nerfing yourself.

The only good thing is that when you use it and the enemy team keeps wacking you like retards, you'll get some RP.

The reason WoTLK DK was more fun is because it had utility. DK's now only have damage and if they dont give us any utility and just nerf damage it's just going to be like a small patch that ruins DK's forever.

Fucking awesome suggestion. I didn't know btw that necrotic plague caused less overall damage then the other two. I just assumed... what would be the point of taking the talent if it didn't increase our dot damage.. how shit...

That will work as well but at least sometime in the future it would be nice to have one good team oriented talent.

I hope that DK's are tier 1 melee when wod is here or i am personally done with WOW. Being sub-pairs for the whole exp is just aids

That again tells you that they design the game but they don't play it, don't see much diff between this guy and Ghostretardcrawler.

This has probably been mentioned but as it is now it is basically better for pvp DKs to not pick a lvl 100 talent at all over actually picking them, the exception being sindragosas breath but that's only because you have a choice not to use it.

Necrotic plague does less damage AT MAX STACKS than the frost fever + blood plague it replaces.

Defile reduces the area of effect drastically on death and decay making it worse for breaking stealth/camo/invis.

Sindragosas breath does ~4500 damage per 15RP tick compared to death coils 10k hits for 30RP (unbuffed in mastery gear)
