PVP arms will just sit in defensive spamming dev for rev procs and MS when up, maintain rend and probably never hit CS.

Word from a friend says that the first tuning pass is tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. Money on arms getting nerfed, which I welcome.

E: Also, mastery DOES effect slam. Try it yourself in game. Look at slam tooltip, buff mastery of any sort, look again.

Bringing back damage/mitigation based moves in defensive stance sounds great.  Only problem with it during the whole Cata-era - warrior damage output in defensive stance (dogshit) leading to the whole  "Train the warrior till he pops defensives > Leave him alone, for now > Train Him again gamplay.  I'd love to see where they go with this.

For the people who are on Beta, how does arms feel without piercing howl?  Is our current tool-kit decent enough to make up without?  I'm cringing at the thought of playing without it.

This will probably be the  "Safe" Rotation, for lower leveled warriors to use without out fear of getting blown up, higher rated warriors however, will use pinka's version to max damage. Which actually isn't that bad tbh because it leaves wiggle room for good warriors to set themselves apart from the bad ones. But the 6 sec lockout seems too high of a time frame (and shouldn't effect fury at all. Fury shouldn't even get Dev or Rev since they are suffering from button bloat that was the slogan for WoD)

Its also disheartening to hear that they are starting the numbers pass when there is still much to do with the specs and the thought of having to wait till 6.1 for devs to see the big issues also sucks

Doing a first number pass doesn't mean they are 100% happy with the mechanics.
It just means they reached a point where they need to do some rough tuning to better evaluate the mechanics...

It means they are done implementing new ideas, or fixing the crap they piled onto the specs. I dont think any other class got overhauled and turnd upside down as much as wars did for Wod

Don't get attached to dev and rev, Celestalon won't allow complexity to stand.

He's almost undoubtedly referring to the stance requirement. You can watch the tooltip scale yourself in the beta. I have confirmation from a myriad of theorycrafting friends (literally the people who write the APL of simcraft) that slam does scale with mastery.

E: Another friend says this mastery scaling was only added on this week's beta build, which I imagine is why we have a conflict of opinions. But it definitely does scale with mastery now.

They probably changed their minds shortly after the tweet and decided to give it a try.
I doubt he was talking about the stance requirement since he had told me shortly before that their plan was to move the stance requirement from Slam to Colossus Smash...
I'm glad they included Slam in the mastery, it will open more talent choices in that tier.

Don't count on that since it's possible SD was stealth buffed to consume 10 extra rage, instead of consuming 0 extra.

They should just increase the proc chance instead of buffing the damage...

Delete that entire row and give us our shout tier back. Seriously having to spec into specific talents to get the spec to work in the first place is beyond retarded.

Eh the shouts were boring as fuck. While I agree our talents shouldn't be things required to make our class have any sort of dynamic interaction (minus slam), I don't mind the tier being replaced.

While they may be boring, each shout hard its place and was useable in certain situations (staggering less so due to breaking on damage) whereas the new talents its UqT for Fury, SD for arms, and HR for Prot/glad stance.

Blizz has a bad habit of making entire talents tiers useless due to lack of choices. might as well just pick for us what they want each spec to have at that rate

i'd be more inclined to just say having a core element of your rotation on a talent tier is fucking retarded

random question is bloodbath any good on wod beta or is it still rat tier
