http://twitch.tv/PVPLive

Frisco, TX - PVP Live is proud to announce the next World of Warcraft 3v3 Invitational Online Tournament in our 2014 $3,000 winner take all Armageddon Series. The tournament will be live streamed through our partner Twitch channel Saturday and Sunday, May 24th and 25th, 2014.

PVP LIVE’s Armageddon Series will continue monthly throughout 2014. The second tournament in the series will feature a double elimination tournament format, with two teams advancing to a single elimination Grand Finals bracket.

The prize pool format has changed to winner-take-all tournaments, where skill determines who will take home $3,000 and who will go home empty handed. For competitors, this means no more week-after-week grind, playing it safe and accumulating points or vying for third place. Every event carries these dramatic all-or-nothing stakes.

The series is officially endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment, allowing us to provide a polished, high-quality event by working with their esports team to tackle - and solve - difficult technical issues that have challenged tournaments in the past.

Our programming contains not only the ultimate tournament experience with top ranked World of Warcraft players, but also our dedicated broadcast team. Our player-centric philosophy will be front and center, bringing viewers inside the experience to learn about the players, chronicle their gaming history and future, as well as providing the top notch shoutcast commentary our audience has come to expect from PVP LIVE.

Founded in 2012, PVP Live is dedicated to creating high-quality, player-centric media properties for the video gaming community. From the casual enthusiast to the hardcore eSports athlete, PVP Live exists to create vibrant, polished media experiences online for all players.

Good thing they thought of doing it on a different day than the ProGameX tournament. Not that I would mind 2 tournaments on the same day, since there is a wow arena tournament every week, and I have something to entertain me every week. I would mind 2 tournaments on the same day only if there were no tournaments in the wow community and I was getting bored every week. Imagine them stacking 2 tournaments on the same day, that would have been retarded right? XD

I hope it is an accident, and they did not do it in order to take their viewers because they know most people would want to watch the PvPLive than the ProGameX. If its an accident then i suppose they will change their date, and dont force us to choose 1 of the 2 tournaments on the 24th and 25th of May.

To be fair, he might not have worded it well but he has a point.

Its silly to have these on the same days:

Not only will both streams get less viewers therefore less money for the organisation running it. Which in turn means less money they can spend on new tournaments, but it also adds unnecessary competition between the tournament organizers to be the most popular.

Teams will only be able to enter one of the them (I think?).

Also if one gets all the "best" teams then it will no doubt become the most popular which is a real shame for the other tournament. These tournaments are great and really good for the community and we don't want one organisation stopping because there last tournament was the 2nd choice of many.

Unless I'm missing something?

Also if this designed to be at the same time/competition. Then fuck whoever did that because they obviously just care about the money and not the community.

.... in my opinion.

Completely agree. The more tournaments the better but having 2 on the same weekend is just hurting each other. The only thing is that the ProGameX tournament is EU so will be airing earlier than PVPLive (US) so they might not clash. I've asked about it, anyway.

I want you in too
I had a dream about you. Instead of chest hair, I grew a garden between my legs. You were the FDA saying you needed to inspect my crop, but I saw you for what you were— vagina.

Think no filth, see no porn.

I am not tuning into this shit if It's going to be Lock/Sham mirrors all over again like last time. That RLS game especially was so aids, sorry. It's great people are trying to keep the competitive scene alive in WoW, but LSD is really really boring to watch.
