  • I'm using Mass Entanglement, because I use this root together with Solar Beam to CC the enemies’ healer or the enemies’ damage dealer.
  • If you prefer to play with the treants, you might not need Mass Entanglement, because you can use the treant's root together with Solar Beam. The problem is that you'll DR the root if you press the button too fast and got two charges of the treants.
  • Might be strong against meeles. I don't want to use so many globals to slow the enemy.
  • Typhoon is nice to interrupt casts or knocking meeles away when they are chasing you or your healer

You can use the treant-macro for root/beam in this movie i made if you like Siuo (Btw thumps up for the post)

Note that is my first attempt to make a movie, but the meld/pounce macro is widely used and really strong, the other day i melded a shockwave from warrior and instant pounced him as he popped Reck :D

Ps. sad boomkin story, i got ditched by my partners 3 weeks before season ended at 2.3k as boom/mage/priest - Priest went turbo-cleave and mage WMD - why wouldn't they :'(

You do realize that treants aren't on GCD but mass entanglement is ?

Small update to the Macro Siuo

So you won't have to change macro's when you change talents from treants - mass roots

And ofc. it still have the focus modifier aswell.

#showtooltip Solar Beam
/stopcasting
/castsequence [mod:shift, target=focus] reset=2 Force of Nature, Solar Beam; Force of Nature, Solar Beam
/cast [mod:shift, @focus] Solar Beam; Solar beam
/cast [mod:shift, @focus] Mass Entanglement; Mass Entanglement

Made some vods of some match ups today. http://www.twitch.tv...tease/c/3880094

LSD2 seems pretty strong atm with weapons. It feels like LSD/GodComp/Roguexx can give it some problems.

Is it normal for a person that has never played a Druid to feel like there are too many spells and macros. So many in fact I don't think there are enough keys on a keyboard to play one decent enough. Shouldn't have boosted a Druid but the idea of spicy chicken sounded really fun.

Since I've stopped updating my guide from the last patch, feel free to drag some of that info over here if you want Siuo.  I'm not playing the game atm because I'm too busy, but anything that helps the lazerchicken community I'm good with.  So if you find anything useful in the other guide, feel free to snag it!

Quick question... the last time I've played Boomkin seriously (or seriously at all for that matter) was during WotLK, and since so much changed right now...

Back in the days I focused on getting out as much CC as I could. Clone this, root that, clutch hibernates, blabla... With the huge benefit we get from multidotting though, and especially when playing with an UA Lock in 2s or 3s... would it be more beneficial to let the dots tick for increased rotting? Or just clone regardless of dots, whenever you can?

generally cyclones destroy your pressure

you should use it very rarely, but you have to clone players who use their 3 min cooldowns. Just play safe and win the late game :P

What is peoples opinion on boomkin's race on horde, especially after the WoD changes? I see mostly tauren, but im guessing its more about tradition and not having a big difference than anything else. But from a min/max point of view, what do you guys think?

The changes are the following:

Tauren
  • Brawn is a new racial passive ability that increases Critical Strike bonus damage and healing done by 2%.
  • Endurance now increases Stamina by an amount scaling with character level, instead of increasing Base Health by 5%.
Troll
  • Berserking now increases Haste by 15% (down from 20%).

gonna try to read through the changes wod changes soon

but imo tauren is already quite good after the shooting star nerf. but ugly as hell :P
I don' think this 15% haste troll thingy is any good without dot snapshotting in wod^^
