Updated for 5.4.8, will continue to update if anything changes!
Greetings AJ community, I've decided to make a list of updated Hunter macros coming into 5.4.7. This is my first post on AJ so bare with me, I saw a few other stickys with semi-updated Hunter macros but with a few important ones missing. Without further adieu:

Mouseover  Concussive shot:
-
#showtooltip concussive shot
/use [@mouseover,harm][harm] concussive shot

Deterrence: Stops casting, cancels Hand of Protection, casts deterrence
-

Master's Call: You can either use /cast [target=playername] Master's call OR /cast [target=party2] or what ever their corresponding party slot is, I prefer 1 macro for DPS and 1 for healer.
-

#showtooltip Master's Call
/stopcasting
/cast Dash(Ferocity, Cunning Ability)
/cast [target=playername] Master's call

Master's Call Self: This one is a mouse-over macro and a self macro built into one. It will cast Master's Call on your mouse over. If you do not have a current mouseover it will cast it on yourself.
-
#showtooltip Master's Call
/cast [target=mouseover, help] Master's Call; [target=YOURNAMEHERE] Master's Call

Mend Pet: Stops casting, casts mend pet, casts cower (useful when your pet is being trained, cower it at high health if it is being trained that way your healer can catch up in healing it)

You can use the same line (/cast !Aspect of the hawk) in any macro you feel is necessary to secure that Aspect of the Hawk is enabled (Chimera/Explosive/Powershpt/Glaive Toss) etc.
-

#showttoltip Arcane Shot
/cast !Aspect of the Hawk
/cast Arcane Shot

-

#showttoltip Chimera Shot

Pet follow macro:

Cancel Deterrence: This will cancel Deterrence:

The reason behind not having macros for /target arena1-3 or /focus arena1-3 is because they recently added bindings for these in the default keybinds. +6 free macro slots!

This concludes my 5.4.7 macro list, thanks for viewing!

imo some of the most important macros that aren't here are /cancelaura trap macros

they are so useful for trapping when you're close to a healer, trapping off roots, or trying to sneak a trap without it being eaten, especially since they seem to trigger a lot faster than a launched trap

here's the one i use; the aspect of the hawk is in there to make it so there is no animation for laying down the trap, making it almost impossible to see

#showtooltip
/cancelaura trap launcher
/cast freezing trap
/cast !aspect of the hawk

I can see this being useful, especially with the amount of people running GladiatorLOSA. However you could do the same thing just binding trap launcher. But the Hawk part is extremely sneaky lol! Nice! I might just add that line to all my trap macros.

well pressing trap launcher is a lot less reliable; you can spam the macro as much as you want and it will guarantee that you don't have trap launcher toggled

it's also nice to use to try to trap off slows, roots, etc if you know they wont react quick enough due to the fast trigger time and no animation

why do people have aspect macrod into everything? is this from being stuck in season 11 when fox /hawk dancing was a thing?
there is no point to it

Exactly.

The only macro i disagree with is mend pet + cower. I spam Mend pet whenever i waddle around/pillar and can't hit anything. it's just a button that i constantly press when there's nothing better to do.
Also the revive pet one is bit useless tbh. I usually spam it few times and all i'd do is break my cast constantly xP you'll mostly be behind pillar so i doubt you are going to be casting a steady/cobra shot anyway.

of course i still use cheetah but its easier just to bind that  and hawk rather than having 80 hawks in your binds.. i always love it when hunters are playing in those tournaments and all you see across the global usage section is hawk hawk hawk hawk hawk

yeah, i often use cheetah (with the minor glyph) to kite behind a pillar or to run and eat a trap, so i like having aspect of the hawk in my chimera shot and a couple others to make sure it's always up

It's just to ensure that you have hawk buffed. No harm in putting it in a macro at all.

I agree with the cower one, I have 2 seperate mend pet macros (one with cower and one without). As for the revive pet one, sometimes you'll need to juke a kick (lets say you're sitting in a root and obviously can't master's call cause you're pet is dead) and really need to get your pet up asap. Press once to start casting, press again to stop cast etc.

well yeah but you either jump or use one of your other abilities since all hunter spells have x2 /stopcasting in them

My apologies, thanks for letting me know, most of these I wrote off the top of my head rather than copy/paste out of my folder or in game. Fixed c:
