Why is this ability so awful?

The execute part hits for 10-30k, is the hardest execute to use and also the weakest?

Soulburn hits for 100k+ and just requires them to be under 20 percent...?

Soul Reaper hits 70k on the execute portion, 140k crit, and works under 35% instead of under 20%.

I've gotten to the point of almost never dispelling it since using that global to heal almost always is better.

You mean you were being silly and tried to heal them above 35% but realized that your Natures Swiftness was completely absorbe dby the 400k necrotic strike?

The damage is fine, just wish it would crit more. If it does crit, it's a guaranteed kill assuming the target didn't pop any defenses. The mechanics of it deals damage are fine for the most part, maybe lower the time to 3 or 4 seconds to detonate. Honestly I wish there were more things in game that were unique like this.

Only real problem I have is that it's dispellable, but honestly I don't think I've ever actually had it dispelled unless it was to get something else off.

DK's should have more damage. Give them killing spree while you're at it. Fucking most retarded spell ever. 7 second kidney shot into shadowblades and killing spree, legit.

got a few 90-98k non crit soul reapers and a 180k crit after the patch. idk how you get that to 20-30k unless it's a warrior with like ironbark and shieldwall up, lawl.

I like the idea behind Soul Reaper (detonating part) but I feel like it's a little too strong when combined with the amount of damage DKs do.

Would like to see either of the two toned down a little bit, and compensated elsewhere.

I got hit for 205k yesterday, don't really think its fair with dispel CD that it hits so hard...

I think the fact it can be dispelled makes it alright seeing as no other execute can be stopped, alteast with Soulreaper you are given 5 seconds to do something about it before it goes off.

While doing alot of damage is fun, I have to agree. We do enough damage as it is without the 10% increase to strength. I rather survive the RMX opener without using a thousand defensives than do even more damage. But alas, the main focus of the game is PVE and DKs were shit in PVE so a damage buff seemed obvious.

205k isn't fair, but neither is subterfuge and tricks every 30 seconds. Just saying.

Willy that has to be the dumbest argument ever. Just Rogues are fucking stupid. So are Mages, Warriors and Hunters, but that has nothing to do with what Mir said. You want him to stop using his spells because they're too good?

Just look at fucking goat debuffs. Its impossible to dispel with 10 second cd

I played scleave to 2270 a few weeks ago before changing over to phd and this was my favorite thing about the comp. You SR and UA the healer. Dispell dead. Not dispell dead.  DAT SYNERGY.

Too bad hunter cleaves happened. We got steamrolled.

Want DK's to stop using soul reaper because its too good? Same argument. He pointed out that soul reaper damage wasnt fair and I pointed out that neither was subterfuge and tricks. I was merely pointing out that rogues subterfuge - like DK's soul reaper damage - is unfair.
